Posted .Hello Nick, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11 Torque Drive cord-free vacuum is our longest running cordless models to date. It offers twice the suction of any cord-free vacuum at the cleaner head, up to a 60 minute run time with a motorized attachment, and the intelligence to optimize your clean. That being said, while is it the strongest cord-free among all of our models, in terms of suction power, it comes in at 185 air watts. While powerful, the majority of our upright and canister models do have more suction power than this. If you're finding the V11 hard to push due to the suction, you may wish to use the machine in Eco or Auto modes, as these will provide less suction and should make it easier to vacuum your floors. I am happy to inform you that the V11 battery can be changed in the future in the event that it is ever needed. This vacuum was not intended for the battery to be change out regularly, however, if you would choose to do so, it is something that can be done by removing two screws which hold the battery securely in place.
