Posted .Hi Adam, this is Kelly with Dyson. It's rather unusual to hear that your V11 Torque Drive cord-free machine has developed a foul odor after a few months of use. Your machine will capture whatever you clean, so if you have a home with pets, for example, you might notice more odors occurring within the clear bin, filter or cyclone. The V11 does have a washable filter, which should be cleaned once per month. We'd be glad to walk you through some other steps to keep your machine clean.
