It doesn't actually vacuum unless put on boster mode and if put on that mode battery only lastest 8 mins once those mins are over it has to be charged for 3hrs. For the price it is, so NOT worth it.

It's unusual to hear that in the low and medium suction modes, you have no pick-up power or performance. We can confirm that the high/max power mode will give you significantly less run time, however, it will provide you with a boost of power for more stubborn messes or larger debris. I never had clogging occur on my V8 or my v7. The major failure point is the straight shoot connection. Whereas the V8 and previous models opened to a wide mouth to the internal canister, the v11 has a smaller opening. I actually really want to return this one but I got rid of the box.

Dyson V11 features in-line configuration. The motor, bin and cyclone are all aligned, so air is drawn into the cyclone in a straight line. This helps to create and maintain powerful Dyson suction. An integrated digital motor in the torque-drive cleaner head spins the brush bar up to 60 times a second. It drives stiff nylon bristles deep into carpeting to remove dirt, and carbon fiber filaments capture fine dust on hard floors. The issue you are experiencing sounds rather unusual. But the manual says not for all floors and conventional wisdom cautions against beater bars on hardwood so we erred on the side of caution and returned it to stick with our Dyson canister that does allow us to stop the beater bar.

The head features a Dynamic Load Sensor system, which automatically changes the motor speed for different floor types. The full width brush bar features stiff nylon bristles which drive down deep in to carpeting to remove ground-in dirt. The carbon fiber filaments are a softer, anti-static carbon fiber material, to sweep dust from hard floors and crevices. The cleaner head is suitable for just about every floor type, and there's no need to change floor tools with the advanced features of this model.
