We have two very furry dogs. We're also remodeling a few rooms in our house that have plaster walls. It does not matter what we do to block the dust from plaster, it seems to settle everywhere. This vacuum can clean both the dog hair and fine dust like a champ. Our couch actually feels clean after using the vacuum on it. Our biggest complaint has been battery life (which we knew was going to be shorter than we'd like when we got it, so not taking off any points there), but we're seriously debating buying a second battery.

Love this iteration of the dyson vacuum, it charges quickly and has newly developed chassie + battery make the whole thing lightweight

This vacuum sucks. (Literally) the laser feature is good for seeing the difference before and after you use it. Pricey, but worth it.

Upgraded from a V6 to V12 detect and was worth every penny. Can spot all my dogs hair with the lazer. Would definitely recommend it.

VERY NICE VACUUM. Ended up being too small for our needs and returned for the outsize; but this vacuum IS worth every penny for smaller homes.

Works as advertised. The convenience of a light wireless vacuum means I am more likely to vacuum which is the main value here. The convenience also means I vacuum in more places too. Only downside is the collection canister is small.

Best vacuum broom I’ve ever owned. Can just grab this thing and go. Easy to maneuver and picks up all the dust and lost fur.

It's on ok vacuum. We had a stick vacuum that broke and needed a new one. The things I don't like a out this one are the smaller chamber so you have to empty it more frequently. Also, on our old one, when you pulled the lever to empty the the chamber that collects all the dirt/debris basically all of it would come out easily. This one has a rubber flange that alot of the hair gets stuck behind. This means you have to dig your hand in the chamber to pull it out. Also, the laser head that comes with this is basically useless in a well lit room. Very hard to see. Do yourself a favor and get A cheaper model with a bigger chamber that empties easier.

The suction is really good on hardwood floors. Head is small, so it takes you longer to complete your task. Battery lasts less than an hour and takes hours to recharge. In most cases, like mine, you will need a second battery.

I love my new dyson! It gets every little crumb. I use all the attachments and it’s so easy to clean! Great for car, furniture and floor.

We love this vacuum when it works. It’s been only 8 months since we’ve bought it and we’re having issues with it. Our last Dyson was a cordless stick but with the trigger, which broke. We bought this one since it had an actual on and off button but the vacuum doesn’t stay on for more than 10 seconds. I’ve cleaned the filers, switched out the filters, deep cleaned everything, and it problem still persists. Now this vacuum has been sold out and we can’t get a replacement. So we’re stuck.

If you have a smaller home or apartment with hard floors, this vacuum is perfect for needing a quick — and deep — clean!

surprisingly short run times; low suction when trying for advertised, longer, run times (60 mins ?) $600 value can only be attributed to competitive price comparison, not function
