Easy to clean, not heavy at all. After a year of using this vacuum still working, I had to buy filters, and for some reason still smelling like a wet dog. Pretty good with pet hair. Battery is only 30 min in max capacity. You have to empty around 3 times in one use

The new way of vacuum cleaning, light and compact. Battery life is decent, but sometimes have to re-charge it to finish the job. The dust bin size is small, but not a big deal if emptying out frequently. I like the laser detection of particles on hard floors. This model has also the on/off button which you don’t have to hold.

Obsessed with this vacuum! Having 3 dogs this vacuum comes in handy seeing where all the hair is! Also, love that it is cordless.

I owned the V7 animal and as the battery started to degrade over time I started looking at the newer models includingfrom other manufacturers. I purchased the V12 slim because of the laser and the auto detection mode to save battery. Very happy with the updates and glad I stuck with Dyson.

Amazing. We had the dyson v8 stick and I didn't think we needed to upgrade by my wife talked me into it. It actually is worth the money. I thought the little green light was gimmicky before buying it but it actually really does show you things on hard services that you otherwise can't see.

This is the third Dyson and first stick vacuum I’ve owned and this is by far, the best!! Lightweight, powerful and very thorough. The laser is futuristic and shows just how dusty your floors really are!

I like the fact that is has a laser that shows you where the dirt and dust is, and it has powerful suction for its size. The battery life is enough for us to vacccum a 1700 sq ft house on normal mode.

Have had many vaccums in my life but this one is the real deal and id never recommend someone buy a 600$ vaccum but when it comes to dyson i highly recommend you just do it anyways. Picks up the finest micro dust that i didnt even know couks pick up.

My wife spent hours researching this purchase and she never does that. She loved it and thats five stars for me! She loves the convenience, ease of use on the stairs and around the house, and the on off button that doesnt require her to hold a trigger. I recommend.

Excellent vacuum. We have over 4000 square feet of hardwood floors - this works amazing. The green laser is not a gimmick. Our floors have never been cleaner. Super easy to empty. Nice array of attachments.

Love it! it works great and has so many pieces for vacuuming different spaces.

My fiancé absolutely loves this vacuum. Now she doesn’t have to haul a heavy hoover up and down our stairs. She says this vacuum allows her to spot clean multiple rooms in less than 20 min. Installation of the docking station took only 5 minutes once we located the spot we wanted to mount the vacuum.

Believe it or not my wife actually asked for a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. I did a lot of research and the Dyson V12 Detect Slim was the one that would meet our needs the best. She loves her new household toy! It performs exactly as advertise. She really likes the power on button, thanks Dyson for making that change over having to grip the handle all the time . She especially likes the fact that it's so lightweight. That comes in especially handy when doing our two flights of stairs. The green laser is a nice feature so that you can see the dirt particulars on bare floors or a spot you might have missed. I'm sure we'll get many years of service out of this vacuum.

Sucks up any dirt with ease. We use it on hardwood floors and carpet in a breeze. The best vacuum on the market!

I love my Dyson. It felt like a splurge but it makes vacuuming fun. I chose the smaller vacuum because it’s a lot less heavy; only downside is you have to dump it quite often. However, it’s totally worth it. Awesome vacuum!

It’s a very convenient stick vacuum. Wood floor cleaning is excellent specially for pet hair. Carpet and wood floor slightly off mark but would put it in very good category. Battery life as stated in user manual is sufficient and even the smaller container for all captured contents is not a botheration as long as you have something nearby to clear contents. I have an old Dyson D07 ( thoroughly serviced) which still works and carpet deep cleaning still does very well.

This vacuum is top notch. Works great on my wood floors. Picks up everything! I’m able to see kitty litter everywhere on the wood floors with the green light. Just an amazing product

I bought this because I am done with cords. I want to feel free when I am doing some house cleaning. The price is the only reason I gave it 4 stars everything else is great!
