Absolutely won't pick up dry cat food. The foot attachment that has the light on it, only shows scratches in vinyl flooring, and won't pick up anything.

We're also glad to know that the included attachments have all been useful for you. Run time can definitely vary for you, depending on the suction mode in use. Across three modes of suction, you should expect anywhere from 5-60 minutes of run time. Most owners will find that the high or boost suction mode is great for more stubborn messes or larger debris, and can use the lower suction settings for everyday cleaning.
