Decided it was time for a new one. This one is the perfect upgrade. New features, same quality we have come to expect.

Good vacuum, stopped working

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the vacuum on 11/22/22 and the body and turbine assembly died within two weeks after probably 5 total uses. Have had two chats with Dyson service, the last as recent as 12/19/22, and will hopefully have replacement parts soon. While I was able to use it, it did what it was advertised to do. I like that it is lightweight and convenient. It is powerful for its size. Agree with the others about the small dust capacity and the short battery life. On Auto mode I was getting 20-25 minutes on a full charge which is just enough for me to vacuum my house if I’m quick. Does good with pet hair. All-in-all, I enjoyed using the unit while it worked and hope to use it again very soon.

Motorhead is not relaible

Having been launched two years ago, it is constantly out of stock on the Dyson website. The battery that comes with it last nowhere near the amount of time stated even on low power so having to spare battery would be ideal. This is completely ridiculous to pay this much for a vacuum and you can't buy a spare battery 2 years later. Definitely have buyers regret with this purchase.

The laser function alone is extremely satisfying and really does light up dust on the floor.

Although our cordless units will only provide up to 6-7 minutes of power on the max setting, you should still be able to get powerful suction on the standard power mode.

I need to replace the battery, but they don't have the part in stock. As a result, my Dyson is essentially useless. It's been out of stock for a long time, yet they continue to sell the V12. How can they keep selling a product without ensuring the availability of essential parts? This is unacceptable.
