The Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum is another high quality product from Dyson. The vacuum works well on hard floors and carpets, while containing technology to make sure you can get almost every speck of dust. The vacuum is cordless so you will want to charge it up right out of the box. You can charge it with a cord that plugs into a wall outlet or by hooking the vaccum into a wall bracket that will hold the charging cord. Once you are ready to sweep, assembly and changing out accessories is so easy. Simply push in on the red button on the accessory and pull to remove it. The power level of the unit is automatic and is based on the amount of dirt it is picking up. The unit is not very loud at all, but you can hear the engine pick up while sweeping a particularly dirty location. There is a Motorbar head for cleaning hardwoods and carpets, and is designed to prevent hair tangles within the head. It did an amazing job on my carpet and hardwood floors. There is a smaller accessory for cleaning stairs and cushions. There is a smaller narrow accessory with a slide up brush, and a longer narrow accessory for precision. And there is the Laser Slim Fluffy head for cleaning up dust. The brush is extremely soft. The casing for this head contains a green laser that displays a line on the floor in front of the head that really makes small dust particles shine. It does make light-colored particles on the ground glow. All this time, there is a digital display on the top of the vacuum module that shows 4 different categories of particles and how much of those particles are being sucked up by the vacuum. The particle results helps drive the automatic power setting discussed earlier. The display also shows the remaining minutes left in the charge. I have a mid-size home, and it easily has enough charge for that. The longest charge I have had is 50 minutes. Results will vary depending on how dirty the floors are. It is light weight compared to other vacuums, and I never got tired of holding it for the 30 minutes it took to sweep my floor. It does come with a single filter that is washable and reusable. I am so happy that I have this product. It is a great vaccum for hard wood floors, carpets, stairs, cusions, you name it. I would reccommned the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum for any user.

It is stronger at picking up dirt. It seems to die faster but I’m please with the entire slim, lightweight machine.
