Customers are saying
Customers highly value the V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum's powerful suction, long battery life, and ease of use. Many appreciate the laser-assisted cleaning and lightweight design, while some find the price to be a significant drawback. Other minor concerns include the need to continuously hold the trigger and the relatively small dustbin capacity.

Great vacuum.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrific vacuum and the attachments are great too. It’s nice to always have the vacuum handy when I need to clean up a quick mess. Battery life is good and it just depends on what surface you’re cleaning. If you have thicker carpets in your house I would recommend a non cordless Dyson as I feel they clean carpets better. Also the laser light makes you feel like you can never vacuum enough

Good Vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good vacuum that is easy to use. We can knock out the entire house when fully charged on the auto setting (half wood/ half carpet, about 1,800 sq. ft) and still have some battery left to spare. It would be nice if they included another battery for the price and if there was a button to keep the vacuum running instead of a trigger you have to continuously hold. The vacuum can put a little strain on your arm and back if you after use for a while, but manageable if you switch arms. Mobility is great and easy to move around. The laser makes it easy to see the dust. and the attachments are helpful and also work great. It does a good job cleaning and is easy to empty out when full. Hairs can sometimes get tangled in the bin and you still have to reach in with your hand to get things like that out. Overall a good vacuum. Pricey, but gets the job done.

It’s a Dyson, expensive but worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd Dyson vacuum cleaner and my 2nd cordless. It was a guilty pleasure buy. My other 2 Dyson vacuum cleaners still work, I just wanted a newer one with newer features. My first cordless stick vacuum is a Dyson 6. It still works. I had to replace the battery a couple of years ago, and it was like a new vacuum cleaner. My favorite feature on the V15 is the laser light. I also hate it, because it shows me how dirty my floors are. The vacuum picks up a lot, but it also seems to get blocked a lot, more than my V6. I have 4 cats and a cat sized dog, so there is always fur and dirt to vacuum up.

Amazing product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whoa never cosidered vacuuming to be this enjoyable. First off, i used to use a old Hoover that began dying on me. So i got this dyson and my goodness have i been missing out. Its light weight, powerfull suction and comes with all the accessories you will need. The only con is the battery life, for my carpet i can get around 25 minutes per charge, which seems a little low but enough for me to vacuum the house with a few minutes left. Also you might want to consider buying a holder for everything if you dont want to drill holes in your wall.

Nothing comes remotely close.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is among the best vacuums you can buy and it's worth every cent it costs, probably more. The sheer amount of debris and dirt this vacuum can suck up is so impressive, it's one of the only true downsides of this device. From the factory this vacuum is in immaculate condition, but from the first use on... it will have dirt, dust, and debris in every nook and place. Forever. You can clean it all you want, but it's never truly "clean" again. I will say that I appreciate the ability to take it down though, and for that it's still an excellent product. I have debris stuck in a part that cannot be un-assembled. The vacuum also includes several different attachments, the laser head is for solid floors... there's a traditional head for carpets... and even a car tool which is equally impressive in and of itself. It also has a very clear animated screen to show you what you are sucking up, and just how good the vacuum is working. You can clean everything, even curtains with this vacuum and every surface will feel "cleaner" with each use. The laser light is not a gimmick and it's good on solid floors at night and during the day (just... not as good) My only negatives are that: You have to empty the bin often, the battery life isn't terrible but also is not that wonderful (I get around 30-40 minutes of usage a charge), and it gets dirt stuck in the most odd places within the collection bin itself. Oh and it touts being able to de-tangle hair with fancy technology and while... I've witnessed that tech working to an extent but you will still have to clean the heads and unwind long hair from tines every now and again. If there's any question whether to get this vacuum or not... Nothing comes remotely close.

Makes Man Fall In Love With Vacuuming..
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start this by saying, I never thought there'd come a day that I was excited over a new vacuum cleaner. Haha! With that out of the way, this thing is mind-blowingly impressive to me. So much so that I enjoy vacuuming the house... this makes the wife happy, too! Suction: Eco- This is the power saving setting it extends the battery life quite a bit but don't expect it to suck up everything you can throw at it. I rarely use this setting but its handy for the super light jobs. Medium(Auto)- To me, this is where it's at. 30+minutes on a full charge and the right amount of power for most jobs. This setting serves two functions. When you are using the power brush roll for all floor types or the hard floor soft roll, it activates auto suction. This allows the vacuum to adjust suction based upon the amount of particles it detects. I can say with confidence this is a very accurate and effective function. Like magic, it just knows what it needs to do. Turbo- Although this setting is very limiting on the battery life, it turns the vac into a black whole that swallows up everything in its path! I recommend using this only when needed and only for a minute or two at a time. It does cause the battery to get quite warm due to the rate of discharge. The small attachments are all great but for the money paid I really wish they would have included the extension hose. Not a big ordeal but sometimes the reach is awkward when you have a small attachment connected directly to the vac. Not a deal breaker only a minor inconvenience. Overall, this is the best all around vac I've ever owned and I will be a repeat Dyson customer because of how happy I am with it.

||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this vacuum. It works well, the battery could last long. I vacuum everyday, now I use it almost two years. It still functions well. It vacuum cleaner than other bands. I have tried other bands before. The Dyson 15 functions the best in battery life, suction and dumping out the dust.

Great Vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum is great. Perfect for an apartment or smaller house. The battery should have no problem lasting long enough, and the suction is very good. We have a cat and it picks up a ton of hair. The brush head also does not get hair tangled in it which is great. Overall, I love this vacuum and would easily recommend to anyone who lives in an apartment.

Why didn’t I do this sooner
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have both hardwood and carpet floors and would drag out two different vacuums to get the job done. I now only have to replace the attachment head, which is very quick, and I get it done in no time. Love the amount of stuff that gets picked up by the powerful suction and it is super lightweight. My floors have never looked better!

Amazing vacuum with lots of good attachements
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was time to replace our old Dyson cord vacuum. I think it was 17 years old. Since it had performed so well over the years, I immediately looked to Dyson again. I admit I was a bit skeptical that a smaller stick vacuum could do the job in an almost 2000 sq ft house. We are senior citizens who have an active lifestyle, live in the mountains off of dusty roads, have house cats and 2 Aussie dogs. Since we also have horses and acreage, we are busy and the cleaning sometimes takes a lower priority. I wanted something that was easy to use, quick, and not having to drag a cord around sounded really good! Hubby thought I was making a big mistake. But, after assembling it and using it today, he has changed his mind, and I really, really like this handy and powerful vacuum. Some of the features take a bit of getting used to, like taking the tube with the power head off to dump the bin. In fact, I was concerned about the small size of the bin, and how often I might need to dump it. But after using it to vacuum most of the house, I'm no longer concerned. I'm used to it now, and it takes just a moment. And...it did a great job, our area rugs look great, and it moves so easily to our hardwood floors. One really big plus for us is that it runs off battery charge. We live off the grid and generate our own electricity with solar and wind. On cloudy, windless days, I was basically forbidden to vacuum, unless I started a generator. But now, I can have a charge ready and get it done! Couldn't be happier. If, having using this for a time we find something to change our opinion, I will edit my review to reflect it. Can definitely recommend this product!

Awesome vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this vacuum you can buy extra batteries to extend the use between charges. If you have only hard wood or tile floors you may not need the extra battery as the carpet seems to drain it the fastest. We have not bought a replacement battery so it’s not a need but I love that we have the option. You can also control the suction to help extend the battery lift. I thought the light on the front would be gimmicky but I totally love it.

Better than all the rest
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had given up on Dyson, then I bought 3 other vacuums. They all did a terrible job! I gave this one another try and it is so good! Vacuums up everything all those other left behind! I had a V11 before. But it still performed better than the shark that was second place. It is sometimes hard to switch out the pieces to the main port.

Good vacuum but not a good replacement
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum works as advertised. It does a great job of cleaning up everything. It gets up pet hair very well. Has good suction and did a great job on our hardwoods. Me and my wife had a few issues with it though that were deal breakers. 1. The vacuum was to heavy for my wife she we would get tired after awhile. 2. The head on the vacuum is so much smaller than the one on our old ball Dyson that it takes much longer to clean larger areas. 3. Lastly, we technically never ran out battery when cleaning, but the timer definitely caused some anxiety on if we would be able to clean the whole house before our time ran out. Overall, it is a good vacuum but not a good replacement for our old Dyson ball vacuum and at this price it cost too much to be a supplemental vacuum.

Amazing … but too many accessories
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it. The suction is amazing. But theres foir motor heads which is three too many. I bought this for the laser light but that is only for the wood floors; not carpet. For carpet you need another head. Its annoying. I dont want to constantly switch heads for the floor. I wish I knew and I would habe purchased a downgraded model as i dont use the laser head because I have lots of rugs on my wood floors.

Best Purchase Yet
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far my best purchase yet this year. I kept stalling and didn't get this during every major sales last year because I wondered if it was really worth it but I must say it was INDEED worth it. I had an old vacuum that I thought was doing a good, however, compared to this, it was mediocre. The Dyson V15 does what it was meant to do! Picks up dust and dirt. I worked on my carpet and was surprised at the amount of dust/dirt it picked up, the suction power is top notch. The laser one especially blew my mind. I love how it would direct you to the dirt your eyes wouldn't have caught. In all this is a great purchase, if you are skeptical, do not hesitate on this one. It is worth every penny. Several Pros - Gets the job done, it has al the accessories you need for a clean home, it is wireless/cordless and even nice you can make it hand held, the anti-tangle comb (I've never had to use my hand to remove stuck hair), the floor auto-detect feature - this literally changes the suction power based on the debris or floor type it detects. The only con I can possibly highlight is the battery life. On full boost - which does the work extremely well - it lasts about 20 minutes at most but honestly, this also depend on the cleaner head/brush tool you are using.
