    I returned cuz handle is nit comfrtable to carry and not enough power. I wait that they change battery to 44 volt for higher suction power .

    I like it . It works perfectly. I am really in love the only think I don’t like is a have to keep my finger on the bottom to be on .

    I honestly love this product, but it seems like it gets stuck whenever you use it for more than 30 minutes. It’s a good product, but not for the price.

    We had the smaller v10 that we love. This one was good quality but to large and heavy for what we needed

    Great machine concept, good power poor battery life above all the critical part of this vacuum that made me return it is that it’s exceptionally heavy on the wrist and forearm. I used it like twice and I gave up. My wrist hurts so bad that to me $700 not worth that will give me medical bills. I will use my another non handheld vacuum.

    Owners manual says it fomes with an extra battery but mine did not.

    DO NOT BUY! first the LCD stopped working after 3 weeks, then then until itself stopped working... since purchasing the v15 it has not worked for 6 months now and trying to get dyson to either fix or replace under warranty has not been anything but pulling teeth. They have yet to address it or even attempt to do so. Never again with Dyson... overpriced bad support and simply doesnt work.

    Battery too short and heavy

    The light feature is really cool but that attachment only provides 15 minutes of vacuum time on a single charge. And it takes hours to recharge it. The vacuum itself is a lot heavier than my v8.

      Hello Nicole, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're glad to hear that you've found the V15 Detect to feel so light weight in the hand while vacuuming. It is a touch heavier than the previous V8 models. The V8 is 5.8 pounds and the V15 Detect is 6.8. This operational weight includes the weight of both the wand and the floor tool. With regard to the run time, you have varying suction modes to be used with your machine, and the run time will depend on power mode, flooring type and the cleanerhead type you're using (hair screw tool, high torque head or non-motorized). Run times will be anywhere form 5-60 minutes. You should find that auto mode works the best, but you can adjust to Eco mode to extend run times.

    Clean filter alarm!

    I loved it until 5 minutes into using it, just rite out of the box, it started giving me the filter error. I read the reviews before purchasing the DV15 and seen there were issues with this. I was able to clear the filter error but it just came back after 5 or so minutes. Took it back to bestbuy for a no hassle refund. I would not recommend until this flaw is fixed.

With regard to run time, you have three suction modes to select from while using this machine; boost, auto and eco. The run time will vary from 5-60 minutes, all depending on which power mode you use, as well as which attachment type being used - motorized tools/attachments will draw more power than other non-motorized tools will.

    Dyson V 15 vacuum cleaners

    A purchase of only six months old, the top display has a unit that shows you the power has gone out! The unit section is not working properly either. I have tried everything to get a hold of Dyson corporation, I cannot get anyone to help with the problem. I purchased a V 15 because at the time it was the best on the market.

    This is OK, but the battery life isn't great. I barely get my house done with one charge. Buy an extra battery, or perhaps stick with a corded machine.

    Don't buy with Best Buy

    Buying this product from Best Buy you will not have a HEPA filter. You would think at this price and with this model advertised as having a HEPA filter it would come with one. I've had a +15 yr old vacuum work better than this Dyson. The hose doesn't suction well at all and the vacuum does poorly on rugs even with adjusted settings.

    Do not buy if you have pet hair. The fan creates so much air on all settings that it turns into flying hair all over the room. It is impossible to clean pet hair as the surrounding area blows up into the room.

    Doesn’t even turn on

    I’ve been waiting to purchase this vacuum for MONTHS. Charge the battery for the recommended time and it doesn’t even turn on. For 700 dollars I would expect for it to AT LEAST turn on.
