Nice vacuum but wand is too short

I am 6’2” and find that my back hurts after vacuuming carpet for more than a few minutes. With my old canister vacuum I could extend the length of the wand at will but so far I have been unable to find an attachment that will allow me to do that with my new Dyson. If I could solve this issue, I give give the v15 Detect 5stars.
