Customers are saying

Customers highly value the V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum's powerful suction, long battery life, and ease of use. Many appreciate the laser-assisted cleaning and lightweight design, while some find the price to be a significant drawback. Other minor concerns include the need to continuously hold the trigger and the relatively small dustbin capacity.

I am not normally the one that buys a vacuum cleaner but did so at my own peril and got lucky!! This is an amazing device and I am sure I don’t even use all the features! It has countless attachments and two vacuum heads, one of which is for hard surfaces. That head has a green light that illuminates the dirt and debris on the floor that you would not otherwise see!!! Amazing!! And lightweight and easy to use. Not cheap but zero regrets and strongly recommend!!!

If my wife knew sooner that all she had to do was buy this vacuum to get me to clean up around the house more, she would’ve bought it for me as a wedding gift! Seriously, I actually don’t hate vacuuming anymore, with this Dyson V15, from Best Buy, it’s so easy, and simple, because the Dyson can actually SHOW YOU the dirt. That’s right, with the fiber optic floor attachment, dirt on the floor GLOWS, and with the Dyson V15, the display will tell you when your floor is clean. The only thing better than that, is a housekeeper. I’ve even recommended this to my mother.

    Mind Blowing

I was skeptical for the price but my husband presented me with a pretty good pitch on this one! We updated from the Dyson V6 Animal to this the V15 Detect and it is absolutely not a gimmick in my opinion this vacuum is the real deal. We considered getting the V11 Torque but considering it doesn’t come with a soft roll brush that we need the V15 was a no brainer once you price out the other with the roller. This vacuum will have you lifting furniture to clean, once you can see all of the dust and hair it is horrifying and incredibly satisfying to clean your home! We actually had vacuumed and shampooed our carpet (with old unit) and then hours later came through with this vacuum and still got up dirt and hair! Crazy!

Best vacuum ever. Easy to use and has amazing power. The floor laser shows just how dirty your floor was. Best feature. The battery seems to last pretty well for what size my house is.

Love the power this unit has. Dyson has plenty of attachments to make the machine even better. I went with another brand and that was a huge mistake. Dyson all the way.

    Goodbye corded vacuum

decided to give this a try since my previous vacuum was causing me issues. First off the bat, the suction was noticeable from the start making easy work vacuuming compared to the other one. Being cordless was a major upgrade as my previous vacuum was corded, that's something I enjoy not having to deal with. Finally, the battery lasts a reasonable amount for what I vacuum in my household. I highly recommend it to anyone that is on the fence on making this purchase, worth it.

This vacuum is amazing. I love how it lights up the dirt on the floor. Little did I know just how quickly my floor gets filled with dog hair until I flip on this sweeper. I sweep a lot more and it’s cordless. I cannot sweep with a corded vacuum anymore. Carpet head works really good. Picked up two containers of dirt from one room carpet that visiblly looked clean and I had just used the shark corded vacuum. I’ll never use another vacuum again.

This is a great cordless vacuum. It has plenty of power. I thought I might buy an extra battery, but at this point I have no need to. I have a 2,000 square foot house and have plenty of battery. I love the way the accessories go together, no having them fall off. If you are looking for a cordless vacuum don’t pass this one up.

So far after a couple of weeks of use it lasts for 30 minutes plus, little bulkier then some prior dysons, different heads are great for certain surfaces.

The little vacuum that could. This sucker has a green laser light that shines over the floor and reveals every single mote of dust. Pretty hard to run the battery out of juice.

Let me start by saying this is my favorite vacuum I have used, it works on hardwood, carpet, rugs (even thick ones!), and everything else. However, using this vacuum has a few drawbacks I will address later on, but it doesn't totally ruin the experience. Build Quality- This is a Dyson product and like all other Dyson products - is built really well. Zero complaints on how anything feels or fits and is top-notch. Everything is made of plastic however it still feels high quality and I can't complain about the plastic build because if they used any more premium material it would quickly get very heavy so the well-finished plastic will do. Attachments- Let me start by saying the laser hardwood attachment will ruin how clean you thought a room was, truly terrifies me that I have that much dust that I can only see with Dyson's green laser but I am glad it is gone! All the heads on this vacuum are powered, an electrical port travels down the long tub or connects directly should you just plug the head in straight (such as the attachment for your car, works great and leaves those amazing carpet lines in your car) and that's amazing but it means all the attachment heads will cost more so just a heads up there when you go to buy new or other attachment heads. I believe this is the first time they are doing the powered heads as my last Dyson (v10?) did not have power running to the attachments. Features- Outside of the laser head attachment, it has a sensor in the vacuum that displays on the small LCD screen how many and what size dust particles it picks up. I am not sure how accurate it is but either way, it is pretty much a gimic - your house has dust and lots of it but this puts an arbitrary number to it that to me at least doesn't really matter. The screen is awesome for displaying your power, issues with the filter, and battery life. Really nice and high-resolution screen for what it is. Outside of those and the new attachment heads and them being powered, it is pretty much the same as every other model except a bit more powerful and a bit more efficient. Bin- Generally about the same size, with the same issues my last one had. Certainly big enough for my house that's around 1800sf, can do it in one to two runs which is pretty good in my opinion and certainly not a problem. If it is, they have the oversized one that is even bigger (and surprise surprise even more $). My issues- Let's start with my least favorite, this thing clogs often. My dogs don't shed a lot but for some reason, this thing clogs on their hair and it is due to the design as any small piece of fuzz can clog it. This is because where the vacuum ejects the debris into the storage container, it is a flat slightly curved surface so any fuzz that isn't less than 2" will hit the wall and stop effectively clogging the vacuum and then backlogging the clog into the incoming pipe which can be difficult to pick out. My second issue is that it can be an actual pain to get the tube to detach from the vacuum and takes me several minutes sometimes to press the red detach button in a sufficient way to eject. My last Dyson had both of these issues that I was hoping to be fixed but nonetheless, here we are. Conclusions- This is a great vacuum, and I find that my issues are either very minor or only relative to me as most people don't try and suck up fuzz. That's ok but my issue is that they tout how powerful this is but my old college vacuum sucked up fuzz no problem. I think I will continue to buy Dyson vacumes but I would really like to try a shark or one of the competitors to see how it fairs as well. I rated this 4 stars but really I think it is a 3.5. I think if you are ok not sucking up fuzz this is the best vacuum on the market and it sucks up everything else leaving the BEST carpet lines of all time which really is all that matters here anyways lol.
