Easy to use and vacuum’s really well, it’s not to heavy and is practical

The suction on this model is terrific. I thought the laser attachment might be a gimmick, but i was dead wrong! The laser shows the small debris you thought you picked up and provides an additional smug sense of throwing. All the additional attachments come as cherries on top due to the versatility they bring. I kind of wish the interface were a bit more thought out, but it's far from a deal breaker.

This is the best Dyson handheld cordless vac yet! Originally bought the V12 slim detect as an upgrade to the V8 animal, but the canister was just too small for my house with 2 dogs and a toddler. So when the V15 Detect went on sale for Black Friday at $650, I snagged it and returned the V12 slim (although i wouldnt mind having it as a second for my upstairs only). But the V15 detect is perfect for my 2000ft^2 home. The trigger power fxn is a must. I love the auto detect mode! Battery life is miles better than my V8. The laser cleaning fxn is perfect for hard to see pet hair on tan tile floors. And the dust cannister makes it a perfect size. Not too heavy but enough space to get the whole downstairs in one go. With the HOLIDAY pricing, this was an amazing deal and a must have for any home. I also purchased the BB Total Tech subscription to cover my vaccuum from accidents and any issues the factory warranty wont cover.

My second Dyson cordless. The product works quite well, the green laser is quite helpful in illuminating dust and guiding the vacuum head. I don't personally think it is necessary to present a particle count of what has been vacuumed, what difference does it make ? I hope it will last at least as long as my first one, which was about 6 years. There are clear improvements in the design over the first unit I purchased. However, a flaw was also introduced that prohibits extending the head deep below a low opening as the rotation of the head does not support holding the handle 'sideways' to reduce it's ground clearance.

I bought this v15 to replace my v6 purchased 4.5 years ago. The 60 mins of battery time can guarantee I clean all rooms at once. Comparing with v6, v15 is the suction power is really over-powered! Additionally, the new tech like LCD and laser is a big plus and makes it the first choice of home cleaning as a very modern and powerful vacuum.

Versatile vacuum cleaner with powerful suction and light weight. Much more suction and run time than previous V8 it replaced. Used as our primary vacuum cleaner for rug and hardwood floors. Easy to lug up and down two levels of home. Worth the premium price.

I am astonished on how much suction power the Dyson V15 produces. More suction power than the Dyson V11 absolute. So much on boost the carpet is being pulled up. Although Medium is sufficient. The floor never looked better and so much fun cleaning the floor with the green laser. Pricey at $750 plus tax. I would have given a 5 star but price and quality of service needs upgrading to stronger or more solid plastic without squeaking all the time. Also I prefer an extra battery pack and filters.

We upgraded from a Dyson V10 to the Dyson V15 Detect, and overall I feel like it was worth it. Since we were upgrading, the first thing I was happy about was the V15 base mounting holes lined up with the V10 base mounting holes, so we didn't need to drill new holes in our wall. In terms of cleaning, the V15 has much better suction than the V10, so we were delighted to see how much more dirt/hair/etc. it picked up. With that being said, I feel like the V10's bin was easier to empty than the V15. Dirt/hair collects at the top of the V15 bin and we have to reach in and pull it out to completely empty it. Battery life is significantly better - I'd estimate about 2x more capacity than the V10. This is in part because the V15 supposedly detects how much dirts it's picking up and automatically adjusts the suction/power usage as needed. The LED status panel on the back of the unit supposedly counts how many particles it picks. Since it reports numbers in the millions, I'll have to take its word for it, but this feature seems pretty gimmicky to me. One thing to note is the cool laser feature only works with the hard floor attachment. If you're primarily vacuuming carpets, it's pretty useless. Overall, it's a decent vacuum. We primarily wanted something with more suction and better battery life, and the V15 delivers on that.
