I bought this v15 to replace my v6 purchased 4.5 years ago. The 60 mins of battery time can guarantee I clean all rooms at once. Comparing with v6, v15 is the suction power is really over-powered! Additionally, the new tech like LCD and laser is a big plus and makes it the first choice of home cleaning as a very modern and powerful vacuum.

I am astonished on how much suction power the Dyson V15 produces. More suction power than the Dyson V11 absolute. So much on boost the carpet is being pulled up. Although Medium is sufficient. The floor never looked better and so much fun cleaning the floor with the green laser. Pricey at $750 plus tax. I would have given a 5 star but price and quality of service needs upgrading to stronger or more solid plastic without squeaking all the time. Also I prefer an extra battery pack and filters.

We upgraded from a Dyson V10 to the Dyson V15 Detect, and overall I feel like it was worth it. Since we were upgrading, the first thing I was happy about was the V15 base mounting holes lined up with the V10 base mounting holes, so we didn't need to drill new holes in our wall. In terms of cleaning, the V15 has much better suction than the V10, so we were delighted to see how much more dirt/hair/etc. it picked up. With that being said, I feel like the V10's bin was easier to empty than the V15. Dirt/hair collects at the top of the V15 bin and we have to reach in and pull it out to completely empty it. Battery life is significantly better - I'd estimate about 2x more capacity than the V10. This is in part because the V15 supposedly detects how much dirts it's picking up and automatically adjusts the suction/power usage as needed. The LED status panel on the back of the unit supposedly counts how many particles it picks. Since it reports numbers in the millions, I'll have to take its word for it, but this feature seems pretty gimmicky to me. One thing to note is the cool laser feature only works with the hard floor attachment. If you're primarily vacuuming carpets, it's pretty useless. Overall, it's a decent vacuum. We primarily wanted something with more suction and better battery life, and the V15 delivers on that.

Don’t bother with this vacuum unless you ACTUALLY want your floors to be CLEAN. REALLY CLEAN. Obsessively clean. Because this thing is so satisfying to use (especially in the dark) that you’ll feel like you’re losing your mind because you can’t wait to put on headphones, turn off all the lights, and vacuum your home.

The Dyson vacuums are great, I had the model from a few years ago and one of the pieces inside the canister broke preventing it from sealing properly to create the suction it normally would so I bought this new model and it’s great! The particle light attached to the soft roller made me realize how much more I should be vacuuming.

I like the vacuum, it does an Excellent job, and easy to do the self-wash clean. Only downside is this Dyson V15 is pretty heavy for woman user, a little heavy but not too bad. And I have to said every time when I pull out the main unit from the long tube to dump it out dirts, it was not easy to pull it out unless you position it at the sudden angle, not and excellent built.

The laser on this vacuum is the coolest thing ever....Lets you see just how much dust you are sucking up, which you wouldn't see in normal lighting conditions. Powerful suction, and more battery life than anyone would want to keep vacuuming...

I will never buy another vacuum. This thing has the suction power ive never seen. Picks up my dogs hair with ease. Love this product!

excellent, laser is so useful. battery last forever

The green laser light is helpful, vacuuming in the dark, seeing the debris. Dyson should have made the trigger consistently stay on, it only stays on when the trigger is pressed. The battery run times is good overall.

I love it! This is a major upgrade for me! I have the original Dyson ball full size vacuum. This sucks up EVERYTHING! It’s AMAZING!!!!! I had new carpets installed and have been using my older original Dyson ball upright vacuum and thought my new carpets were clean until I used this new one! It sucks up even the smallest dirt/dust particles! I love it!!!!
