And this is the terminator for dust dust cannot hide. With the LED lights, you can actually vacuum in the dark because you could see all the dust even better. I never thought vacuuming would be fun. I actually look forward to it.

I love it, so light to handle and precise, so easy to assemble and very easy to clean the filter. This is my second Dyson product and they never disappoint me

My wife has been bugging me aout this vacuum for a while now, and she ended up getting a cheaper one on Amazon. It was terrible, so I bit the bullet and bought this for the house and i wish i would've purchased it earlier.

So far so good! The only issue we have is vacuuming our small rugs. We have to use a specific attachment or the vacuum just gets stuck. It replaced a Roomba and I will never go back. Easy to use and the laser truly shows you how dirty the hardwood floors are, even when you think they are clean!

Already was a little OCD, this will actually make you want to clean more. Noticeably more powerful than the V11 and better attachments. Easily one of the best things I’ve bought!

We tried the one because of the reviews and specs. When we charged it, it took almost 12 hours to fully charge. Once being used, the battery life in minutes went from 60 to 41 instantly. As soon as we used it on a rug it dipped again to 26 minutes. We have a combination of hardwood floors, wool to low pile rugs, and a low pile carpeted stairway. The suction was fairly good but not impressive enough for the multiple surface usage. Very top heavy but not difficult for me as I keep in shape. Emptying was easy but took a little maneuvering. I truly feel this was worth maybe $200 because of the lack of true suction power and consistent pull between different flat surfaces. I was optimistic since this was my first stick vacuum. I’ll be sticking with my upright as it’s reliable for me and my needs.

My wife LOVES her Dyson vacuum. The best feature is being able to use it on carpet and hard flooring.

We have had three Dyson but thought this time we would spend more money on one to see if it would last longer. The three only lasted two years. Our new one seems to be working great! Will let you know in a few years!

Great vacuum! Meets all my needs whether using it on a carpet, tile floors, or even the pet hair on the couch! It is lightweight and is user friendly.

This vacuum is great! I love the battery life (60 minutes) and the laser to ensure we are getting everything vacuumed. It is kind of pricey, but we plan to have this vacuum for a long time.

I love this, so nice not to have the hassle of a cord. Can get plugged easily if sucking up the wrong thing. Have to pick up stuffing from stuffed animals once in a while, have to be careful. Otherwise it is a great product

We got this as a gift to ourselves when we bought our new house. It’s handled the dog and cat hair perfectly on our hard wood floors. It’s also worked out great on our rugs and the carpeting that we have on our back porch.

The best item you are going to get as a fictional adult, if you have pets get it, if you don’t get it, if you don’t have the money GET IT, it’s worth it. Unless you like being sucio/a.

Dyson does it again. This vacuum does not disappoint. It picks up everything and the extra attachments are no waste. They are all useful.

It's a Dyson, what else can you say? I never thought I'd own one and never thought I'd love a vacuum as much as I do. This thing can tackle literally anything, the laser detect is so satisfying!

I desperately want to fully love this vacuum. It is lightweight, powerful, quiet, has impressive battery life, and very cool technology. You'd think it would be the perfect multi floor cleaning solution as it does hard floors and carpet equally well with the multiple different included brush bars. And to be truthful, it does clean incredibly well. The biggest headlining feature of the V15 Detect is the laser brush bar. Designed for hard floors, it has a green laser that will illuminate dust, hair, and any other particles on the floor in need of being picked up. It makes being able to thoroughly clean your hard floors gloriously easy. It also makes it clear as day just how dirty they may be... But, what I thought would be gimmicky at first is definitely a standout feature and really helps with getting the vacuuming job done. As if being able to see all that dust was not enough the LCD screen on the top of the power head also indicates all the different types of particulates it is sucking up, on top of offering a timer for approximate remaining battery and what mode you are using. Auto mode generally does the trick as it will extend the life the most and will kick it into a higher gear when it detects a need. However you can also override it into a low setting or kick it into turbo yourself if you want or need to. It also includes a multi-floor cleaning head that is the only option for carpet. This head has the ability to self clean keeping hair from getting tangled up in it and it really makes a big difference in keeping it running like new all the time. It picks up so much more than my old vacuum; it's fairly shocking. Lastly, the smallest head is designed for cleaning pet hair and other things off of furniture, pet beds, and the like. It does a great job of grabbing all the hair off of my dog's beds and fills up the container very quickly since they shed so much. Thankfully the container is super easy to empty and can be done in seconds without getting your hands dirty. All 3 heads can be used with or without the extension hose, and in addition there are several other attachments included such as the usual small crevasse tool, a duster brush, a hard bristle brush for tougher spots like mud, and a multi tool. You can attach two of them to the extension hose with the included clip, and the other two can be attached and stored on the wall mount that doubles as a charger if you set it up that way. It has lots of options for cleaning all your floors, furniture, and even dusting blinds if you need to. For any of that cleaning, it has tons of suction power. It will easily grab all small particulates and hair, but will not suck up anything larger with the brush bars. It will either get stuck or simply go right over the top of anything larger than a dime. All the different attachments make it easy to find one that will do the job you need done. My home is 2000 sq ft and I can vacuum all my floors on one charge as long as I do so regularly. If it was much bigger or I had significant cleaning needed I don't think it would last however. And that is one of the flaws, since it only includes one battery pack once it is out of juice you are done. Since it takes over 3 hours to recharge and the charging cable is only 4 feet long it cannot be used while charging. For very large homes you would need to take that into consideration. Now to the reason I said at the beginning I wanted to love it. Up to now you'd probably think I couldn't possibly have any issues other than battery life! But, there is an inherent problem with it that I cannot overlook. I have never encountered a vacuum that could not be pulled backwards while using it. Say you need to clean that corner, or your stairs, or simply have muscle memory of pushing and pulling a vacuum back and forth while using it. Well you can forget all that with the V15. If you pull if backwards while its running, it will cut power to the brush bar and the brush will stop spinning. In the case of the laser brush bar the laser goes off as well. This of course causes it to stop cleaning almost at all. The only way to get it to start back up is to power the V15 off and back on again. Sometimes, it takes a couple tries if you are too hasty about it. This can cause a great deal of frustration as there are lots of times where you can't just go straight while vacuuming. Sometimes you have to pull back even just a bit. I regularly spend a decent amount of time fighting to get the brush bar to start up again so I can continue working. It does this with all 3 different heads, with or without the extension pipe installed. So it seems to be inherent to the design for some reason. You have to learn to either power it off or pick it up completely whenever you need to back up at all. Maybe that's not a deal breaker for some, but for me it is very irritating and makes the entire package harder to enjoy using. Overall it is a good powerful vacuum with unique technological features, albeit with some real drawbacks that make it hard for me to fully enjoy. I would still recommend it but would do so only as long as I could make someone fully aware of the negatives associated with it.
