You need super-human strength to push this vacuum on any type of carpet. Even very short carpet, it feels like it sucks itself to the floor so hard you can’t actually move it.

If you want your vacuum to make you feel like a dirty and disgusting human being buy a dyson. If you want your dyson to make you feel even worse about your cleanliness buy this dyson with the laser.

After reviewing so many options, decided I needed to go with the Dyson. This does not disappoint. There are so many tools that is included. The laser feature is awesome! I can see the dirt as i'm vacuuming. 4 stars as the specs stated 1 hour of operating time on a full charge. That is only if you use the lowest (econ) setting. On mid setting it is 38 minutes of vacuuming time on a full charge.

You get what you pay for with the Dyson V15 Detect! Very convenient and highly effective. If you have a lot of hard wood floors, consider this model over the V11 Torque Drive, the fluffy head the V15 comes with is unbeatable!

Love the suction on this vacuum but it isn’t durable. Within two months of having it the head would no longer spin. I would have returned it for a refund but it was outside the window. Keep in mind I have hardwood floors throughout my house with a few area rugs and carpet up the stair treads. Not much to really vacuum. So I contacted customer support and no heads were available (out of stock) so they sent me a new machine. This took about 4 weeks and several emails/phone calls (An eternity when you have 3 kids with no vacuum). I got the new machine, within two months one of the side pieces on the joint where it bends came off. They seem to be purely cosmetic but still for over $700 should pieces be falling off???

Works great for our fitness studio. Wish dyson made a more friendly attachment that worked will on rubber floor mats. The soft roller isn't intended for them, and the standard beater brush is too harsh on the rubber. Works great on the hard surfaces throughout everywhere else in the studio though!

Love the new laser attachment for hard floors. It picks up a lot better than the standard attachment but also with the laser you don't miss a spec of dust/dirt.

This is second time I have to get . I am happy to use anything anywhere only problems clean not easy to inside still dirty find to way clean good machine like that thanks again

I gave up on Dyson long ago for multiple pet household, but this vacuum has stored my love the brand!!! Its nothing short od amazing. No more pet hair clogs!

The V15 Detect is the 2nd cordless Dyson. This one is as powerful as my Dyson Animal Ball vacuum. I use it almost everyday. Great to grab and get the job done.

This vaccum completes every that was promised. Picking up hair, cereal, dirt, and so much more. Would buy two if i could. Thanks, Best Buy and Dyson

I vacuumed with my corded 4 year old vacuum and the next day used my new dyson and picked up so much dust that apparently my old vacuum left behind.

Great for mix of hard floors and carpet. Laser makes it easy to spot dirt on hard floors. Not much battery life on high power, but don’t generally need it. Expensive but great vacuum.

The best purchase of the year I could not beleive if any vaccum cleaner could clean so spotless Awesome !Must buy! Dyson products world class !

It’s a little complicated. I like it nonetheless. Not sure how to reset it after I’m done vacuuming. Hate that the carpet part doesn’t have the laser light thingy on it. Wish boost had a longer life span. Doesn’t feel as strong as the ball.

We used the v15 after running other vacuums in our family room with hard and carped flooring. What a surprise the v15 bin had to be emptied twice because it picked up so much dirt.. 5 star rating for me.

Nice product, the only thing I would suggest is to include an additional batter with the product, or have them available to purchase. The cordless feature is the way to go!

My second Dyson device. It does everything and some that is advertised on the box. We use it for our primary vacuum. The charge time is great. We like all the attachments that come with the vacuum.
