The V10 seemed to work a lot better and longer then the V15. The suction was better and the battery life and honestly the connectors for the carpet and hard wood floor don't work as well especially considering the big price difference. The V15 kind of had issues straight out the box. While the V10 lasted 2 years before I had any issues with it.

Posted .Hello Leo, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V11 models will have some differences from the V15 Detect. The Dyson V15 Detect vacuum introduces several new technologies. An angled laser makes invisible dust visible on hard floors, and a piezo sensor continuously sizes and counts dust particles, showing real-time scientific proof of a deep clean on the LCD screen. A de-tangling comb automatically clears hair from the brush bar of the High Torque cleaner head. And the new Hair screw tool has an anti-tangle conical brush bar to pick up long hair and pet hair.
