    Battery not compatible with EU power network

    Before our purchase, we asked Dyson if the product could be used in Europe. The answer was yes because the battery is dual voltage. We used the product without any problems in the US but it does not work with the European electricity.

    Broke at one year after purchase, parts not available so now i have to send it back for a replacement . Instead of just sending it firts and then i can send the old one . They are leaving me without a vacuum with 4 dogs

    Cannot handle lots of pet hair

    I have 2 labs - and this particular model does not work if you have lots of pet hair. I am a longtime cordless dyson user - and I got V15 model last year. There is a design flaw - and the pet hair gets clogged in the middle of the filter. It is very difficult to clean out - as a result, the suction is poor. I do regular cleanings - doesn't make a difference. It is simply poorly designed.

    Purchased 4 months ago and I’m already having issues with “air blockage” error. I cleared out one area and still isn’t working. Think I have to take it apart but I been on hold for 35 mins for BestBuy support. Not worth the money $800 later.. cleaning out it difficult so tools is a must.

    Worst idea ever.

    This Vacuum is not only expensive but the suction power is really not that great, it stopped adjustin the suction power when it changes from hardwood floor to carpet, and the worst part about this vacumm is by far when you try to empty it, all the hair gets stuck on the top and you have to put your hanside and pull it out while all of the dust and dirt fly everywhere, there are many other older models that work much better than this one.

    Make Sure It’s New

    I drove to a Best Buy 45 minutes from my house to pick up this vacuum. Unfortunately, Best Buy sold me a used vacuum. The original shipping label was still on the box. The components inside were dirty and had clearly been used. I contacted customer service as soon as I got home and unboxed it. They wouldn’t let me return it via UPS or to the many stores closer to my house. They said I had to drive back to the Best Buy I got it from, nearly an hour from my house. The customer service was really poor and not helpful especially when this was Best Buy’s mistake.

    Love my Dyson V15 - the laser is the best!

    I have owned this vacuum for about a year and I just love it!! My home is around 3,000 sq ft with dark engineered flooring throughout, and we have a very furry cat that sheds like crazy! The battery lasts a long time and haven't any problems getting done all of my cleaning. I am able to move fast since there aren't any cords and it is lightweight compared to my corded vacuum. The best part is the laser on the soft brush head that keeps me going since it highlights dust that you don't see without it. Once you start, you can't stop, it is actually very satisfying to vacuum and dare I say, fun!! I also love the way it adjusts its suction when needed. I also own the V8, but the V15 truly is a step above! I highly recommend!

    Do not buy unless you're buying a warranty through Best Buy! I purchased this vacuum in February of 2024 and the light on the Fluffy Optic Cleaner Head quit working on July 23, 2024 after weekly use on a laminate floor. Dyson has repeatedly told me that the part is out of stock and is not offering anything else in its place. This is my fourth Dyson over the years and this is the only one that has had issues, however the Dyson customer service experience has been so poor that I will not buy another Dyson product.

    Not like the one that my friend had. It is described as pet friendly but it is not good with pet fur. The roller sticks all the time. I have only had it for a month.

    Not durable and Dyson customer service is HORRIBLE

    I was using this for just over a year and the rotator wheel on the head broke. Dyson customer service is HORRIBLE. It appears that almost everything that could go wrong with this device is considered "regular use" and "normal wear and tear" by Dyson. They definitely don't want to warranty their products unless it literally just stops working.

    Had to return the first one- luckily had geek squad who said there were so many issues i could get a new one... except it wasn't new. This one is even more messed up than the first. Had a dyson animal with no issues fir a few years- this is our 2nd and once again ill have to drive 45min to a best buy for geek squad to tell me the same thing as the first time. For the $$$ you expect it to last at LEAST a year, this is ridiculous

    Very Disappointed

    The first few months this was life changing. It has since slowed way down and basically pushes dog hairs around. Warranty is useless. Best Buy says we have to go through Dyson despite being a Total Tech member. Dyson sent us a new filter which helped a little for a few runs but I’m waiting for a response as to my next step.

    Bad for cleaning carpets. It works poorly. It stopped working in less than a year. When it is being used, it turns off.
