The Dyson V15 Detect Extra Cordless Vacuum is a powerful vacuum. It has no issue picking up debris on hard floors and carpets. Let me simply highlight the pros and cons. Pros: Strong suction Wide range of accessories Cordless, lightweight design Cons: Higher price point You should have no hesitation buying this vacuum.

Super impressed with the Dyson V15 Detect. The suction power is amazing, and the green light on the hardwood floor head really shows how much dirt was being missed before. It honestly picks up way more than our old corded vacuum—it’s crazy how dirty the floors actually were. Battery life has been solid, and it easily cleans the whole house. Definitely worth it.

Great vacuum, gets the job done and makes life easy! I have no complaints about it. I only wish the battery had a longer life when you are stuck doing challenging jobs

This is my second cordless Dyson vacuum. I like the fact that it automatically adjusts to the pile of the carpet you're using it on. It also has an attachment that is used with other surfaces. The green light shows you what is on the floor that I would never have seen otherwise. We have two cats so now I can see the hair and carpet fibers that are all over the floor. I would recommend this vacuum for anyone with pets or children for sure.

Nothing beats a Dyson! Way ahead of any products out there that claim to be the best this actually does the best and when we see everything it picks up we’re amazed espiaccly for pet hairs! Some might be skeptical because of the price but you are paying for quality of a machine and if you’re like me I hate seeing little pet hairs or dust this gets it all!

I bought this before Christmas and intended to give it to my wife with a funny card that said, "Free vacuuming for a year". Well, I got busy and left that part out. Bad idea. And while not the most romantic gift in the world, she ended up finding my stupidity funny and we both love this thing! It is a must have! After doing research on all the cordless vacs, I decided that the Dyson is far superior to all the cheaper ones and as good as many of the more expensive ones. The V15 does everything but wash the floors (that's the submarine). The lower end models are not nearly as powerful and the larger, more expensive ones are a bit more cumbersome, expensive, and frankly, overkill. But here's the caveat. The microfiber floor attachment works so well, it picks up other items that most vacuums can't get. However, if you have any OCD tendencies, BEWARE!! That green laser light on the floor will remove any doubt of just how much of a slob you really are. We clean our house a couple times a week and still never hesitate to find places we missed before this thing. That filter fills up fast and once again, you are reminded of your slovenly approach to housekeeping. Keep in mind that 60 minutes of run time is possibly a bit of a stretch. If you run it in ECO mode, you can get a good hour. However, the powered attachments do use more power as does the boost mode. That said, if you are vacuuming for more than an hour, you should probably consider examining your life choices. To make an extremely long review even longer, I'll conclude by saying just buy this one. I did all of the research and testing so you don't have to. You're welcome.

i love this vacuum! i especially love the green laser light, it showcases EVERYTHING.

Expensive? Yes. Lightweight? Yes. Does a really good job and isn't deafening to work with? Yes. It has a green light on the front. Why? To help illuminate the stuff you didn't know was there. I thought I was clean until the green light showed me the truth. This thing feeds into my OCD like nothing else.

This has been the best vacuum I've owned. Very easy to use. Ive had had several Sharks, a rainbow vacuum but this is by far the best.

I had a cheap Tineco that would drop everything that it picked up as soon as you turned it off, and a bulky upright that was too heavy to use daily . I hesitated spending this much on a vacuum not thinking that it would be THAT much better, but was I wrong. The amount of dirt this vaccum picks up is insane! Even going over areas where we use the upright we still pick up a crazy amount of dust. 10/10.

Honestly, one of the best adult purchases of my life. It really is a premium product that I expect to last for many years. There are two things to keep in mind with this product: (1) it does not stand up on it's own and (2) sometimes dust and hair get caught in the anister when you're emptying it. Otherwise, everything is great. I did not think I would use the purple attachment with the light on it as much as I actually do. It's great at getting all of those cobwebs!.

We love our Dyson. It is fantastic! Best purchase we have made in a while. We have purchased knock off brands in the past, but not this time. It has great power and suction. Love all the different attachments. We have two large golden doodles and they have been shedding a lot this spring. The Dyson vacuum has been great in helping keep the hair off the couch.

I bought this Dyson to clean hardwood floors in a large home. I especially like the light that shows all the dust on the floors. It has great attachments. It has given me about 45 minutes of run time before charging required.

When i used it for the first time i lost it! So much dust I didn’t realize was there. The suction is so much better than my previous Dyson. If you have OCD you will vacuum for hours. I wore myself out trying to get all the dust. Much lighter and easier to maneuver than my previous Dyson.

Wow its really cool feature with the greeen light, I can see the all the dust in the floor with this feature, this may lead you to not miss a spot, lol. All the attachments are very useful for specific areas. Although, I wish the battery could last longer in boost mode especially in this price of range. Another issue is the suction strength, it could be better once again the price range. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

I purchased the Dyson V15 Detect Extra vacuum. Let me just say that DYSON is the KING of vacuums, picks up everything, just leave it in auto mode for carpets or hardwood floors, works perfectly also, the device with the green laser shows you every piece of hair you can't see with the naked eye. Very happy with this vacuum, would totally recommend.

The vacuum is great. It is quiet, powerful and the battery can last over an hour! Amazing.

The Dyson V-15 is priced as a premium vacuum. It comes with 8 attachments and a wall mount. The wall charging mount was easy to assemble and install. It has plenty of battery to get through just over 3 medium to large rooms on a single charge. Its run time on Mid power is about 15 mins. The only reason it got only 4 stars is the wall mount. It comes with all these great accessories for lots of cleaning situations. However, not all the accessories fit on the wall mount and it just feels awkward to have no place convenient to put them.

We love our Dyson.it is so convenient to go all over the house ,not to trip over the cord or lug heavy regular upright vacuum up the stairs.The suction is great and cleans very well.We additionally purchased pet vacuum brush and our black lab loves to be vacuumed every day!
