It picks up better than an upright vacuum. It’s great to have when there are pets in the house. The extra tools that come with the vacuum are very useful — I even used it to clean the car, which made the job much easier. The price is worth it, and I’m kicking myself for not getting it sooner.

We are upgrading from a 10+ year old Shark stick vacuum that has been great, but we were tired of the cables all in our way. Our first Dyson, and so far it is living up to the hype for ease of use and effectiveness. The hardest transition so far is trying to figure out the most efficient way to store all the accessories without a place for them. It's a good problem, but one that we are still working to solve. I still haven't gotten to the first real round of filter maintenance yet, but it reads to be fairly simple to do. I would definitely recommend this

This comes with some attachments that are only are available at Best Buy. Be prepared for when the green light shines on your floor because it’s going to blow your mind at how dirty your floor is.

The light to illuminate dirt works wonders. The auto suction function saves battery life. I’ve used it for over an hour before! To be able to see on the display how many particulates you’re picking up is great as well!
