Excellent vacuum especially for dogs that shed a lot like mine.

I’ve been a Dyson owner for more than 15-years and when we got our first dog (a golden retriever), I thought a new vacuum was in order. Naturally, I went with a Dyson due to its quality and overall performance. Packaging and presentation is great. But, the performance is what really matters, right? After fully charging the battery, I started to vacuum our HW floors. What I noticed was the vacuum in Eco mode had “not to great” suction power. When switched to “high,” it’s a bit stronger but nowhere near a plug-in. Battery life is typical to all the other cordless vacuums on the market. But, as the battery starts to deplete, so does the power. I was sincerely disappointed with this vacuum. What’s worse is I missed the window to return it. This makes me feel even more upset since it was barely used and I wanted to trade it in for a plug-in. A word to the wise. If you have a dog that sheds, you will want a plug-in vacuum. Personally, I vacuum 2-3X per day. I can’t stand pet dander on dark HW floors. Especially since my Golden is an English Cream. Enjoy!

This was my 3rd Dyson Cordless vacuum. They are great when you first get them and then it slowly loses its power to vacuum. Even after cleaning the filter and keeping the container empty of debris, it just does not work well. Also, this model does not stay on, you have to hold the power button the whole time you are vacuuming, not ideal at all! It's a little on the heavier side too. I will not by another dyson! I just bought the samsung bespoke and hoping for better results.

When you think of this brand you think of great suction. This one is so so. The best feature is the guide light to see the dirt on the hardwoods better. For a vacuum that’s supposed to be good for animal hair, it does get jammed up a lot.

The experience is good, it cleans well, only one detail is that the battery does not last 70 minutes, comondice, it is very bad.

The only complaint is you have to hold the button in order to use vacuum. Other then that it is awesome
