Very powerful vacuum. The green light for the floor attchment really helps to locate particles/dirt on the hard floors. All the different attchments are very helpful.

I have 3 dogs, 5 cats, hardwood floors, carpet. This vacuum is the most incredible machine I have owned. The laser light is phenomenal on how it shows all the dirt, lint on the floor so its hard to miss. It doesn't spit litter and the boost for power is incredible. I use it on Auto mode and it cleans my entire house on one charge. The detangler tool for carpet, OMG, I am in love, no nasty animal hair to untangle on the bristles. Its pricey, and I don't like to spend a lot, but I can sweep with this several times a day. It is my life saver! If I could rate 10 stars, I would.

I have several Dyson vacuums but was leery about a cordless vacuum. My sister recommended this one so I gave it a try. I love it, overall. First, it is SO convenient!! Not having to unravel and plug in a cord has been awesome. Even my husband said this is one of my best purchases. The suction is better than I expected and it picks up very well. The battery lasts a good amount of time for us. My only gripe is, I have a very plush area rug that my plug in Dyson handles just fine, but the cordless one can’t handle it. The rollers just cut off when I try. So for that particular rug I have to pull out the plug in which is inconvenient. But overall I’m very happy with it.

Wish I would have bought it sooner. All attachments are convenient and easy to use. Great suction power. Battery life is as stated.

Held off on this because of the price tag but let me say once I bought this, my whole perspective of dirty floors changed from being able to see how many different particles you can see with the green light! I use to sweep daily with the gyson it makes everything so much easier & quicker!

We bought a V10 back in early 2018 but had stick vacuum envy over the ‘Detect’ line. We also needed an upgrade for battery life purposes. We gave the V10 to a family member who will get great continued use out of it for a small apartment. The V15 does wonders for our 1850 sq ft single story. About 1200 sq ft of tile and 650 sq ft of carpet. We can usually do a quick pass over the entire home on one single charge now! The dog hair we were missing before the Detect head was astonishing. Buy this one if you do not want to splurge on the Gen5 Detect Outsize.

We've owned this for 5 months; we purhased it when our almost-new, top-of-the-line Samsung was in for repair. We LOVE this vacuum. Here are our pros and cons: Pros- great cleaning: picks up a ton of dirt/pet hair; works well on hardwood, LVP/LVT and thick carpet; combination of tools and stick format makes it super easy to get under and around furniture, as well as do stairs; we have a short-haired pet, and this seems to pick it up thoroughly without tangling; (our other vacuum tangled every time we used it); multiple modes- you can override the AI to use higher or lower "suck" modes; easy-to-empty canister. Cons: somewhat weighty- not the lightest out there, but also cleans better than those; you have to hold the trigger (on switch) down the entire time you're using it- if you lose contact or lighten your grip, it stops; battery life- it does burn down quickly especially if you use high power mode much.and takes awhile to recharge fully; no stand- if you like freestanding, you need to buy a stand separately. Any of the cons for us are well worth putting up with for the cleaning power and versatility. We would not have bought the Samsung Bespoke AI if we'd tried this one first, but glad we discovered it!

Best Vacuum ever! My wife can't stop cleaning. She loves the feature where the light comes on and she can all the dust, dog hair and lovely spiders! Battery final lasts as long as needed!!! I liked this so much a bought one for my son and daughter as gifts this last year as well as mine. This is a must buy,

This vacuum is probably one of the coolest and smartest invention ever! It literally knows when too make the suction more powerful on its own. I can be vacuuming the carpet and its doing its normal power suction, the second i start vacumming near the cats litter box, the vaccum goes into over drive and starts getting and picking up all the litter! Now thats amazing that it knows to do that on its own! Also the green laser light on hardwood floors is going to blow your mind at all the hair the laser makes you see that you couldnt see before. I know this vacuum is expensive but its worth it

This is my first Dyson vacuum. I bought it because the people in my life that had a Dyson said they were worth the price. I use it to vacuum on hard floors, carpet, couches and stairs so I like the different attachments. The auto detect feature is pretty neat, I am not sure what its doing but it sounds like it has more power to get the bigger detected mess. I do love, on some of the attachments, that there is a light to show you the dirt and specks. I guess the reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is that the price tag (even on sale) was a bit much for what I feel like I got. I can't explain it much. Its a good vacuum and does what I need it to do sure, but I am not sure about the price. There are likely other options that do the same thing for a lower price. I was trying to do the "buy once, cry once" thing since my last vacuums were cheaper ones. We will see if function holds up over time and perhaps it would justify the cost.

Initially offput by the price but completely worth it. Upgraded from the v8 and it’s so much more powerful. We still have the v8 for cleaning out the cars and lower traffic areas but don’t see ever going back. The laser light for hard surface illumination is more than just a gimmick. I was skeptical at first but it truly does show every speck of dirt on your floors…kinda gross to see how a ‘clean’ floor is actually covered in dust and dirt.

Great vacuum. Having an on button instead of just a trigger button would be a nice option for longer cleaning sessions though. The weight of the handheld part is manageable but it’s an area Dyson could improve on. Nonetheless, it’s still a great vacuum!

We like Dyson as a brand and bought this as a "more sucking power" upgrade over the one we had. I think this might be our last Dyson thought, as they just aren't as powerful as other brands that my friends have. Using the extensions/attachments is pointless because there's not enough suction power to get anything up. The main floor attachment works great, though, and helps us keep our 2-dog, 7-cat floors less fuzzy.

I love this thing! The battery life is AMAZING. There are so many parts but they are all useful. My favorite way to use it is in its compact mode. Cleans my couches so well it looks brand new. I am quite literally obsessed. I never knew my favorite piece of technology would be a vacuum.

This vacuum has made vacuuming an absolute treat! I have vacuumed so much that I can slide across my floor and almost eat off of it... almost. I've bought this for my home and for my mother, since I liked it so much. I have family members who have had the previous versions of this for years now, with no problems, including still having a solid battery life. I am happy that I got this vacuum! The vacuum is easy to set up, charge, use, and maintain. There's even an app and tons of videos online with helpful tips on how to make the most out of your Dyson.

We have had this vacuum for almost 2 years now and we are happy. It performs up to our standards, holds a charge well, and is easy to clean out.

We had a V8 Animal before which served us well and this V15 Detect is much more powerful and It has a larger canister, which is nice. We love the laser on the fluffy optic head because it shows what needs to be vacuumed on the hardwood floors. The carpets that we have looked renewed after vacuuming with the digital motorbar. We believe it was worth the money we paid

I've had the Dyson Ball Animal 1 & 2. To be honest, they were fine. I would've given them 4 stars. But this vacuum is five stars. I got it on sale and used some coupons I had (it only cost me about $600) and it's the best money I've spent all year. I would've paid full price for this vacuum. We have a lab and a newfoundland and have to vacuum every day. This vacuum has been life changing - easy to use, works amazing on all surfaces (area rug, carpet, hardwood), battery life is sufficient (I can vacuum all 1800 square feet of our home on one charge), fits under most furniture easily. Definitely worth it.

This vacuum is awesome it comes with a bunch of different attachments depending on the kit that you get we especially like the fiber optic light for the hardwood floors it's amazing to see how much dust is on the floor thank you Dyson I'll be buying more products in the future
