Amazing vacuum. Light weight and easy to manuever.

Pros: I love the green light that allows you to see all the dust on hardwood floors or cat litter, etc. Cons: The suction was so powerful that it actually restricted my ability to vacuum our regular bedroom carpet like I would with my other vacuums. It also sucked up any area rug. It did not like to vacuum any throw rug at all. It started making me dread vacuuming, but I spent way too much money on it so within two weeks, I knew exactly that I had made a big mistake this go around with buying this Dyson and immediately returned it before my window closed. I would not recommend this if you’re an older adult because you won’t have the strength to push this vacuum around. Also I didn’t like the fact that you have to switch heads if you wanted to vacuum carpet versus hard floors.

3 stars because the vacuum is expensive and the particle counter on mine doesn’t work. I feel like for the price, all features should function. I didn’t return or send back because I don’t think I have to have it. I also think this needs a floor stand instead of wall mount that will hold all the accessories. Dyson advertises a floor stand but it was out of stock last I checked. Wish it came with a hose attachment too. Everything else about the vacuum is great. Being able to pick it up, pull trigger, and start vacuuming is even better than i imagined (its the little things). No more running cords to different outlets. Pick it up and do the car too. The light on roller head really is functional. Didn’t think I would care about it. I love it. Only had it for a couple of months, but so far it is great.

Long time Dyson family. Household 2 adults ,2 teenagers, 2 pets. We've seen it all. We've cleaned it all, We've bought them all (dyson). This guy, the V15 is a good long running vacuum. The gadgets are helpful. The 3 star rating is for the continued power bar wheels that fall off. 1st one lasted 4 months. 2nd lasted 9 months. Called Dyson they said replacement heads were on back order. Do you want to be notified. Sure, never heard from them again. Soft head w light is good but our house has hybrid of carpet and wood floors. Not easy to walkaround with both in hand changing every few spots. Plus moms a neat freak. Light gives her anxiety from debris sightings. Janky powerhead scratches floors. If not for total tec coverage we'd be sunk. The wheel issue makes this the worst one yet. Not to mention you have to pull long section off to dump canister. For the money spent, come on Dyson your better than this.

Great powerfull suction. The new redesign vaccum head has awsome power on carpets.

Best vacuum cleaner out there, with different attachments for carpet, hardfloor and other surfaces. Very powerful and easy to store.

I love my Dyson V15 Detect Extra! It's a great vacuum. This is my 5th Dyson, and I've tried many of their models - this one's a solid choice.

love the green laser light attachment to see where the dog hair and crumbs are, i go around vacuuming at night now! it is relatively quiet for a vacuum and i get about 40 minutes of run time out of the battery currently, it is not a replacement for a full house vacuum but a daily pickup and sweeping option.

Love this vacuum so far. So easy to navigate around objects and switch tools as needed. Mounted to the wall makes it even better. Only downside is the canister is small and fills up very quickly (especially with 2 large dogs).

So far the best vacuum I've ever used. It makes me actually want to vacuum

This vacuum is quiet and powerful. I haven't used all the attachments that come with it, but what I did use, did a great job.

I LOVE this thing. If you have more square footage in your home just be ready to not be able to do all of your floors at one time. Although I have two big dogs so I it takes me longer to get everything cleaned up. I love the laser vision, you literally see things you would not with a regular vacuums!! It’s easy to use and fun to clean!!!

Love, Love my Dyson vacuum. If you have pets you need this! I was embarrassed by how much hair and dirt came out of my rug. I should have got one years ago. The attachments are awesome too!

Excellent vacuum and battery life. Our previous Dyson V6 Animal ended with terrible battery life and would only work for several seconds before dying again. This vacuum has been great with all the dog hair and toddler messes our home produces.
