Not worth the hype

I purchased it to alleviate the pain of using my heavier kenmore canister vacuum up and down the stairs. This vaccuum, unfortunately, is not even close to worth the proce tag. I've had cheap, "no name" brands from amazon that had better battery life and better suction. The dirt detector clearly shows it doesn't pick up a large percentage of the dust and cat hair, and I need to go over areas many times. Yes, it does pick up quite a bit, but not enough for the proce tag. After almost 2 years, I'm on the look out for a more reliable vaccuum that will get the job done.
