This one just doesnt seem to have the same sucking power, the canister is much smaller, and I miss having the spare battery.

I recently got a cat and already had a dog, this vacuum does wonders.. My only complaint is that the battery doesn’t last very long.

I had gotten an Electrolux stick vacuum to replace the Dyson stick vacuum of mine that quit. I am only 5'5 and the electrolux handle was too short for me. I returned it, not a Best Buy purchase. I had wanted this Dyson and waited until it was down to a price I could afford and took the leap. So sorry I got it too! It runs for about 2 feet and shuts down. I lift it up off the carpet and release the power button and try agan. Same issues over and over again. It is so frustrating. I had to recharge it to get anywhere close to doing our living room and it isn't a big room either. Dyson are too expensive to not work!

My only complaint is the battery life on Boost mode. I’m considering returning it for one of the Gen5 models for a greater runtime.
