Naturally, I went with a Dyson due to its quality and overall performance. Packaging and presentation is great. But, the performance is what really matters, right? After fully charging the battery, I started to vacuum our HW floors. What I noticed was the vacuum in Eco mode had “not to great” suction power. When switched to “high,” it’s a bit stronger but nowhere near a plug-in. Battery life is typical to all the other cordless vacuums on the market. But, as the battery starts to deplete, so does the power. I was sincerely disappointed with this vacuum. What’s worse is I missed the window to return it. This makes me feel even more upset since it was barely used and I wanted to trade it in for a plug-in. A word to the wise. If you have a dog that sheds, you will want a plug-in vacuum. Personally, I vacuum 2-3X per day. I can’t stand pet dander on dark HW floors. Especially since my Golden is an English Cream. Enjoy!

I reached out to customer support and on a video call demonstrated the item was broken. For a warranty return you have a choice: they ship the replacement part or you ship back your unit and wait for them to receive it and ship you a new one. Replacement part was out of stock, so I had no choice but to ship them the unit and wait. It has been over 3 weeks now and no replacement and every time I call for an update, I get put on intermittent holds with no resolution after an hour. How am I suppose to clean my house? Dyson needs to update this process. For example, when you upgrade your phone, you have 30 days to send in the old one. Why then after a video call demonstrated my unit was inoperable, couldn't they immediately ship me a new one and charge me if my defective unit never arrived? Very disappointed that I spent so much on a product that lasted less than a year!
