    Broke down in under a year

    10 months in and it works sporadically . It’s under warranty BUT Dyson does not have the part in so I will have to wait up to 8 months to get the part to fix it or mail all 10 pieces (I don’t know where all the pieces are) back to Dyson and be without a vacum for 3 weeks. . It’s a huge hassle. Don’t buy Dyson. For this amount of money you would think it could be an easy fix. It’s like they want to make it difficult for you so you don’t return the vacumn for a new replacement. Why does a multimillion dollar company not have basic pieces (like the motor!) in stock. But it is my fault. I read that it had problems in these comments and I ignored them thinking it wouldn’t happen to me. I’m eating my words. Don’t but Dyson. There are so many other companies to buy from now. It was a good vacumn but nothing amazing.

    Dont expect the high priced Dyson to break day 2

    Red gasket at the top of the canister broke day 2. You can get a replacement but shouldn't have to!!! This should not be acceptable from one of the highest priced vacuums on the market.

    Problems under 1 year

    Had the vacuum under one year and had an issue where there is no power. Dyson kindly sent a brand new replacement—2months later it stopped working entirely and the LED screen doesnt even appear. Waited over a month long for a part restock they ended up doing an exchange for a new replacement bc the replacement part was still out of stock. But having to go through it a second time…. Unreal for a vacuum at this pricepoint.

    Cheap plastic

    I'm done buying Dyson. I've had a few, and the plastic parts are CHEAP and break easily - and I'm someone who takes good care of their things. The cheap plastic starts to creek when you use it and as it eventually begins to degrade. They're always a dream to use when you first get them, though.

    Use on bathroom floor is prohibited.

    Don't buy this model if you want to vacuum your bathroom floor. Dyson specifically prohibits using this in the bathroom. Even if the bathroom floor is completely dry, and is a hard surface, you are still not supposed to ever use it to clean up the bathroom floor - see the warnings, number 21. This is just so illogical. You can use it in a kitchen where there is a sink, but not in a bathroom where there is a sink. How does that make any sense?

    Failed after two years

    At first I loved this vacuum. It’s like no other. Originally purchased December of 2022. However, come January 2025 the vacuum is nothing more than a door stop. After I press the trigger it does not remain on. I’ve consulted support and forums and tried everything from cleaning the filter, replacing the filter, checking for blockages, etc. all to no avail. It seems the problem stems from a faulty power switch/ trigger. It’s a known issue for this model and Dyson has done nothing to remedy. Do your research. For a premium product it’s sad that it only lasts 2 years. Shame on Dyson.

    Junk! Poor Customer Support

    I won't buy another Dyson product ever! I was a month out of my 2 year warranty when the digital spin brush stopped working. They have been out of stock for over a year. I have a $700 vacuum I can't use and they won't help. Full size vacuums are 5 year warranties but cordless only 2. Even though they can't provide a new part they will not give me a new vacuum.

    Over expensive garbage

    I had several cordless Dyson vacuums and they all died on me. I bought a $100 one over the internet that does the job. Dyson is over-expensive, not worth.

    Disappointed.

    I bought this yesterday after seeing all of the hype, and when I went to use the laser head, it’s not sucking up the lit up hair. I thought maybe it needed a full night’s charge, but I tried it again this morning, and it has the same results. For a $650 vacuum, I was expecting this to work as advertised. I’m extremely disappointed. I don’t want to return it, but I think I may have to. The stair tool works well, but the fluffy head with the laser is extremely disappointing. That’s the whole reason I upgraded my Dyson.

    Confirmed Fake by Dyson. Best Buy Won't Refund Me

    Counterfeit Item - Best Buy Won't Refund. Don't buy these vacuums from Best Buy, they will either sell you a refurbished, used, or in my case a straight up counterfeit Dyson vacuum. I confirmed its fake from Dyson, and Best Buy will not refund my $700 they took from me. Do not buy these from best buy, if you are going to get them buy it directly from Dyson

    Defective

    I purchased this vacuum during the Christmas Holidays and have yet been able to use it. I opened the box on the 16th day and the motor would not start. Not aware of Best Buy 15 day return policy. I called Dyson for a replacement motor head. They honored the warranty but sent the wrong part. Called Dyson again, for the correct motor head. I’m still waiting. Very disappointed!

    Vacuum good - DYSON BAD.

    DO NOT PURCHASE DYSON PRODUCTS. Yes, they are sleek and functional. Dyson markets a generous warranty; however, the moment you NEED their warranty, they will not provide any replacement parts. This was clearly a bad brush head, and could not last very long. I have been patiently working with Dyson, and they are not providing the replacement part under their warranty. When I tried to purchase the replacement part, it was out of stock. Not worth the price or hassle.
