Waste of Money

I cleared out one area and still isn’t working. Think I have to take it apart but I been on hold for 35 mins for BestBuy support. Not worth the money $800 later.. cleaning out it difficult so tools is a must.

Not durable and Dyson customer service is HORRIBLE

Dyson customer service is HORRIBLE. It appears that almost everything that could go wrong with this device is considered "regular use" and "normal wear and tear" by Dyson. They definitely don't want to warranty their products unless it literally just stops working.

Very Disappointed

It has since slowed way down and basically pushes dog hairs around. Warranty is useless. Best Buy says we have to go through Dyson despite being a Total Tech member. Dyson sent us a new filter which helped a little for a few runs but I’m waiting for a response as to my next step.

Bad Out of the Box

I spent the time unwrapping all the accessories, putting it together (which was easier than unwrapping the various parts), and placing the unit on the charger. WHOMMMP WHOMMP WHOMMP! It wouldn't charge. Even though I knew the outlet worked, I tried using a different one. Still nothing. I researched how would I know if it is charging or not. I learned that there is supposed to be a light that indicates the battery receiving a charge but I never got the light. After 48 hours, there was still no power to the v15. I have to return it. I understand it could have happened during shipping but what if it is a sign of what is to come if I do exchange the v15 for another v15?

Price match not done

When I went to pick it up I was notified on my phone that it was $100 cheaper. I did a price match and after waiting 30 minutes and the employee calling 3 different managers no one was able to refund me $100 because part of the purchase was my Best Buy bonus points. $400 was my own money!! The employee helping me gave me his business card and said to check back in a few days. The business card does not have a phone number or an email. There is no way to get a hold of anyone at the store. So I have to drive 30 min to the store to speak to someone. Do better BEST BUY!!!!

Good luck if you need service

Now in twilight zone trying to get service for warranty repair. They are only interested in giving you links to u-tube videos. No service centers nearby (the one in Houston closed) and the customer service number is just an endless loop. Next purchase will definitely be another manufacturer. Products are only as good as their customer service department.

Hate it!

I didn’t love that one either, but my husband did.This one got rave reviews so I bought it and all new rugs at the same time.It has been 6 months and it continues to jam, w/ each use, so I have to manually extract the debris.The attachments are very difficult to remove.I spent a fortune and now I am buying a cheap Shark that I bought for my son. It is so much better and only $200! It is a plug in, but I don’t care.

Not worth the hefty price tag

Spent over $700 on a vacuum and my Amazon $69 stick vacuum does a way better job. I have to go over the same spot multiple times to get it to pick a little piece of fuzz up and then it falls right out…there is no obstruction in the nozzle causing this. I’m past the return window but heed my advice…spend your hard earned dollars on a different product

Quality not like they used to be

Good thing i purchased through BB because Dyson replacemt would have taken 7-14 days for a new one. Hopefully the replacement one from BB lasts a little longer.

A Great Addition!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For Hard-Wood floors the Dyson Outsize Total Clean Cordless Vacuum is a great tool for around the house. The Setup is simple along with the many attachments. You connect the battery and the right accessory. Press the Trigger button (The On Button). The amazing green light grants you the sight of all the dust and debris on the ground. There are different modes for the Dyson Vacuum. The eco mode was what I used 75% of the time. This grants you the best battery life but a lower power suction. It lasted me roughly 75 minutes or so. Medium ran for about 35 Minutes with stronger suction. The other two modes I didn't use were louder and drained the battery. How does this thing function and maneuver? Well, Getting under beds and around corners is a breeze. With the cordless design no more choked feeling. The swivel on the vacuum is perfect for harder angles. Also, depending on the task another attachment may be much needed. Just be prepared to get a workout. If you are not used to holding things up or over your head this will be fun. I was just happy I could clean the house floor so quickly!
