I could definitely use the $400 gift card to go towards getting another Dyson vacuum. That’s how much I love this vacuum that I need to get another for downstairs. The suction is great and the battery last 45 mins and that a long time for a cordless vacuum. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone but especially for those with pets, this vacuum comes with a green UFO looking light that helps you see everything dust, hair, crumbs, dirt I’m sure you get the point, Everything. It’s a real game changer. Love love love this helpful vacuum.

Great vacuum a lot more powerful than my V7. I love the new motor the auto feature so you do not have to change the speed basically automatically adapts to carpet tile hardwood floor. I love the lighted adapter that lets you see dirt really really good a little bit expensive but I think it’s worth it.

Strongest suction on the marker for a reason. Sucks up dust like not other vacuum i’ve had. Laser head attachment is fun to use; best without much light so you can see all the dust floating on the floors. You can purchase a compatible stand on am.azon if you don’t want to mount it to your wall.

As my review title suggests, this is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. When deciding to purchase the v15, you have a few options that may be a bit confusing. For example, if purchasing through dyson’s website, you’ll have the v15 absolute as an option which gives you the vacuum in an exclusive gold color, a different filter that meets HEPA filtration requirements everywhere, and a few different attachments. The one at Best Buy was the v15 extra, it’s a nickel color and comes with almost all of the attachments available for the v15 but the standout attachment for me was the low furniture attachment which does exactly as the name suggests, help you reach under low furniture. It will also come with a soft roller head brush for hard floors, and the universal brush which can be used on softer surfaces, like carpet. The v15 also comes with a wall mount that acts as a storage for the vacuum, a few accessories and also acts as the charger and there are instructions to help you install it correctly and it is fairly straightforward. As for performance, I typically use my v15 on carpeted areas in the house and let’s start with the good: -You can adjust the universal roller head brush’s opening for deeper cleaning on the carpets which is typically the setting I have it on. I still have my plug in vacuum and did multiple passes around one of the rooms, then went over the same areas immediately after with my v15 and saw how much embedded dust was missed with my standard plug in vacuum. The v15 gives you a sense of satisfaction knowing how deep this will clean, and it’s a cordless vacuum. -The smaller form factor allows for easy maneuverability, it can be used as a hand held but it’s a bit heavy so after a short time it may get uncomfortable. -Has three different settings, low, medium/automatic, and boost. I typically run it in automatic and the vacuum has sensors which will ramp up the power in areas it detects that are dirtier. -Has a dust particle counter, I typically don’t pay much attention to this but for many people, giving a visual like that continues to encourage you to want to clean. -Convenience. The fact that I just hang it on the dock station, it charges, then the next day I grab and go makes it so convenient that I find myself vacuuming sometimes twice a day in high traffic areas. They say the best vacuum is the one that you’re going to use, and I’ve used this far more than I’ve ever used a vacuum. That alone makes the price tag worth it. Now, the only negative I have for the vacuum is the battery life. If you have a large home, a single charge may not be enough to clean each and every area and it also depends on how dusty or dirty a single area may be, because if the vacuum is ramping up more often than not, it will kill battery life. If ran at low mode, it can last up to 60 minutes, but sometimes I’ll get to a high traffic area and my vacuum will constantly ramp up and the estimated battery life will drop to 20 minutes. One solution is going to dyson’s website and purchasing a second battery to have charged up so you can swap when needed during heavy cleaning days, or like me, keep your plug in vac handy when necessary.

It goes without saying this is a beautiful cordless vacuum cleaner. But...does it deliver on cleaning? YES! It handles both carpet and hardwood floors with ease and we love the variable power levels that automatically adjust to the level of dirt found on the floor. Did I mention that the digital screen also shows you how many nanoparticles of dust are being filtered? There's a cool graphic for that. But you can just look at the dust bin with great satisfaction at how clean your home is now and how on Earth you lived in such filth for the past week.

The optics cleaner head is amazing. I can actually see that it is picking everything up, but man is it gross to see all the pet fur on my wood floors. This vacuum is making me rethink dog ownership. The battery has yet to run out on me. It’s a little heavier than my previous Dyson vacuum, but it also is much more powerful and has a larger canister. Only thing I would change is that the optic cleaner head does not rotate like the other vacuum head so I can’t vacuum under my bed with it. Would definitely recommend.

This is hands-down the best vacuum you can buy. Say goodbye to those bulky corded models and make the switch to this one. It offers impressive suction power, a long-lasting battery, and is incredibly lightweight. The only minor drawback is that you need to hold the power button while using it, but there's a handy accessory on Amazon that solves this issue. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for a hassle-free cleaning experience

Big improvement over the V8 model. Picks up much more dirt and the charge lasts longer. Believe it or not, actually makes vacuuming much more interesting. Worth the money, especially with the 18 months interest free

I can’t believe how well this does on hardwood floors. The light on the hardwood floor attachment shows you every spec of dust and dirt on the floors. I thought my floors were really clean before I started using this. The suction is incredible when using the rug attachment. Love this vacuum but highly recommend buy ing an extra battery and filter as you will vacuum much longer than you intended. Great vacuum!

Solid upgrade over the V11, and it was at a great holiday discount. Probably the reason why I upgraded, as it was $300 off. However, I’m enjoying the features. Especially the more powerful motor (which you can feel how it sticks to the floor tiles) and the adaptive suction which boosts automatically when there’s more dirt or a rug surface. Pretty cool. I’ve had Dyson cordless vacuums since a V8 and trust me when I say that I won’t get these without a BB warranty or plan. At one point or another, they have all eventually failed, and well beyond the 4 year mark. Hoping this one outlasts the previous ones, as I’m definitely enjoying the power and features. Dyson makes the best handheld vacuums, hands down.

I love all the attachments for this product. I really like the attachments that has the light on it for the hardwood or tile floors. You can see exactly where all the dirt is and if you have gotten it all. The attachment for the couch or cars is also great with the spinning brush and the suction. It works amazing, we have a cat and it gets everything.

Upgrade from our v12 to the v15 and its way more powerful the new technology on auto suction when going over dirty areas is nice and the green laser is really nice to see where you need to vacuum

I love this light weight but powerful vacuum cleaner. I have arthritis and can no longer handle the heavier vacuums. I was worried that something so light weight wouldn't work as well but this one does the job, does great on both rugs and hardwoods. Easy to empty the canister and like how I can hang it on my wall.

Replaced a shark cordless vac that was less than a year old and clogged constantly. This one is awesome. Little pricey buy you get what you oay for

Really great vacuum. I had the older V8 before and it was disappointing. The V15 and its new screen with lots of good info, clear understanding of remaining battery, overall power, total number of attachments etc make this a great product. But the real super feature is the green laser that shows you all the dirt particles, especially on hardwood floors. It works exceptionally in darker light and shows you just how quickly and how much dust/dirt accumulates on floors. It really changes how you vacuum. Nice work.

I can’t recommend this vacuum enough. Yes it’s pricey but well worth it. The suction is so strong that sometimes I have to put some force on it and that’s on the MEDIUM setting. Battery life is enough for my whole house. My V8 could only last half the house and if I used the highest setting it only lasted about 2 minutes. This one is far more powerful in the medium setting than that one on the highest setting. Canister is way bigger too. Only have to empty twice for my upstairs animal hair collector. My other one would be 6-8 times and I don’t think it was deep cleaning like this one. Also has digital readouts for power, battery and anything that needs adjusting. If something isn’t working it literally draws you a picture so you can see what to do. The only things that I don’t like about it are the canister has the power center in it so sometimes hair gets stuck up there when trying to empty and you have to take the vacuum attachment off to empty it. But the attachment also comes off easier than my last one.

As a person who has used shark for years and loved them here is my honest review. Shark is great. Honestly. BUT they died on us every two years. Why am I spending $400+ every two years for a vacuum. I decided enough was enough. I would spend more for a Dyson and see how we did. I look to reviews for making a purchase of this expense. This was the ONLY cordless Dyson I really couldn’t find negative reviews on. I caught a sale and made the plunge. The first night, my husband (who is definitely not the cleaner in the house) turned it on to check it out. The laser/light feature on the one vacuum head lit up all of the dust and debris we couldn’t see with the naked eye. He couldn’t help himself. He just kept vacuuming until it was all gone. He vacuumed the whole house. That’s never happened before. Thank you Dyson! It’s cordless feature is amazing and now I can do my whole flight of stairs without having to plug in in the first floor and then come back down, unplug, and plug back in on the second floor. I have mostly wood floors but I have two area rugs that the larger vacuum head attachment works great on. I also vacuum my couches with it. The battery life is just enough for my entire 2000sq ft home. I am so glad I made the plunge and switched to Dyson especially going cordless. It’s been a game changer for us.
