As a person who has used shark for years and loved them here is my honest review. Shark is great. Honestly. BUT they died on us every two years. Why am I spending $400+ every two years for a vacuum. I decided enough was enough. I would spend more for a Dyson and see how we did. I look to reviews for making a purchase of this expense. This was the ONLY cordless Dyson I really couldn’t find negative reviews on. I caught a sale and made the plunge. The first night, my husband (who is definitely not the cleaner in the house) turned it on to check it out. The laser/light feature on the one vacuum head lit up all of the dust and debris we couldn’t see with the naked eye. He couldn’t help himself. He just kept vacuuming until it was all gone. He vacuumed the whole house. That’s never happened before. Thank you Dyson! It’s cordless feature is amazing and now I can do my whole flight of stairs without having to plug in in the first floor and then come back down, unplug, and plug back in on the second floor. I have mostly wood floors but I have two area rugs that the larger vacuum head attachment works great on. I also vacuum my couches with it. The battery life is just enough for my entire 2000sq ft home. I am so glad I made the plunge and switched to Dyson especially going cordless. It’s been a game changer for us.

I am impressed with the Dyson V15. Considering it's a cordless vacuum, I didn't expect it to be that strong, but I have three dogs and three boys, and the Dyson picks up everything. I have been able to vacuum my house without charging, which is 2,982 sqft. I have a robot vacuum for the downstairs and daily mopping, but I decided to use the hard floor head with the light and was amazed by the dust and dirt it showed when the floor looked clean.

I use this vacuum nearly every day. Not necessarily because I need to, but I find it very satisfying to remove all the dust and dirt collected on the floor that can only be seen with the detection light. The charger and wall mount is very convenient and looks clean against the wall. With the swivel head I find it extremely easy to go between chairs and under furniture. Going up and down the stairs is a breeze. If I vacuum the carpets I’ll have to empty out the vacuum but if it’s just the wood floors, it’ll last much longer. I can clean the whole house thoroughly with one charge no problem. Although it’s expensive, I got this at a discount and have no regrets.

Best vaccum cleaner Ive ever owned. Long running time fit my house dize perfectly. A bit pricey but well worth the cost. Rugs have never been cleaner.

Fantastic vacuum. It's powerful and light. Great for all surface types and picks up per hair with ease using an included attachment. With I replaced my old vacuum with this a long time ago.

This is a great vacuum we have mainly tile floors and with the green light, we can see every bit of dirt on the floor. The run time is good. The carpet attachment is great with its motor and the suction still pulls dirt after we use our upright vacuum.

I am very impressed with this vacuum. I didn’t expect this much power from a battery powered handheld. Battery life cleans all the hard floors in my house.

This is the 2nd Cordless Dyson in 4 years. This is an upgrade from the the Dyson 11. It does have better suction and the light actually helps. Dyson needs to make their plastic more durable , they look a little cheap in quality for the price. . The top handle/battery is on the heavy side otherwise it’s a cordless vacuum that does the job.

I have to admit, the power is very good. Wife loves it even though its a fairly heavy. But overall the ease of use and clean up, I feel its the best vacuum I've ever bought. Very good quality and its pretty. That's what the wife says anyway. The extra attachments and versatility, battery life. It was an easy choice for me, I would recommend for a friend.

Great product. Its super helpful for smaller spaces and stairs versus our large Dyson and I love the dust head attachment. The green light allows you to see all the dust on the hardwood floors which is great when you have pets.

I love my dyson. Wish i got it sooner. It makes vacuuming fun and easy. The laser is amazing and you can see every little hair and crumb. A lot of attachments and all very useful. I love that even the long attachment has a light on it!

Absolutely LOVE this vacuum. I love all the attachments, and finally have the attachment that helps you get under pesky furniture without having to bend over too much. As a mom of 2 boys and 3 dogs and chickens (not in the house lol) this is a must! Love the three auction options too! And the master light up is so cool. You see EVERYTHING. No matter if you want to or not! Would recommend for sure.

This vacuum has been great. Easy to move around, lots of attachments, and picks everything up. Glad I decided to go with one of the higher end modules because it does so good with dog hair. I really like the wall mount for easy access.

We upgraded from the V6 Animal. This is great!! Better suction, battery life, and the UV light head is pretty cool too!!!

I’ve only owned my Dyson V15 Detect for about one month, but honestly I was impressed after the very first use. I vacuumed 2500sq feet in no time. After this I believed the hype. It’s a legit product that I now highly recommend. I got it on sale for avout $549 which helped also. I would buy it and try it if you’ve been thinking about purchasing a new vacuum. It’s excellent and I think it’s worth it for me. Especially being able to move around my home without a cord connected to the outlet like I had previously. Being able to remove the canister and clean it and maintain it. Just super easy!!

Hands down best vacuum I’ve ever owned! It works wonders, battery does last and suction is amazing, highly recommend!

So many great features: lightweight, flexible, powerful suction, easy to empty, and the especially powerful “booster” mode. I’m doing doggy daycare and my puppy is shedding everywhere, this is making my life so much easier. Only flaw is battery life, because if you use booster mode, it cuts the battery life. I suggest you get an extra battery. It’s worth it.

I have seen many reviews about these more expensive Dyson vacuums. I did purchase this one on sale for about $100 off. I’ve seen deals where they are lower than that. That being said, this is the best cordless vacuum I’ve ever used. The suction is unbelievable compared to the other cordless vac I had (not comparable in price, but still well over $200), the battery lasts forever, and I absolutely love the display that basically count down the minutes I have left for battery life. The extra accessories with this particular set are amazing. If you price them out on Dyson separately, you would be paying hundreds more.

This is the best vacuum ever. It is light powerful, and the charge lasts long enough to clean the entire house.
