What I thought was a clean carpet turned out to be dirtier than expected. It comes with a lot of attachments, my only flaw with it is that I wish the bristles were a bit more firm in the smaller head attachment.

I purchased thus model hoping the battery life would be as good as advertised it is! With the automatic speed control based on use, it certainly is reliable and does a great job. Highly recommend.

We've seen it all. We've cleaned it all, We've bought them all (dyson). This guy, the V15 is a good long running vacuum. The gadgets are helpful. The 3 star rating is for the continued power bar wheels that fall off. 1st one lasted 4 months. 2nd lasted 9 months. Called Dyson they said replacement heads were on back order. Do you want to be notified. Sure, never heard from them again. Soft head w light is good but our house has hybrid of carpet and wood floors. Not easy to walkaround with both in hand changing every few spots. Plus moms a neat freak. Light gives her anxiety from debris sightings. Janky powerhead scratches floors. If not for total tec coverage we'd be sunk. The wheel issue makes this the worst one yet. Not to mention you have to pull long section off to dump canister. For the money spent, come on Dyson your better than this.

It did get clogged up after several uses, and had it checked out at the Dyson facility near me. Turned out to just be a the filter was clogged. (The filter under the purple cover at the top). The Dyson guy was awesome and after some new user remedial training that I passed along to the housekeeper, we are good to go. Gets up dog hair and dust on smooth floors that you didn't even know were there.
