Talked with the associate in the store and my heart was set on purchasing the IROBOTz after speaking with him. I was totally sold on the Dyson. Very light weight easy to maneuver.

The floor head moves smoothly and makes it easy to reach corners and other hard-to-access areas. I also really appreciate the floor-leveling feature for different surfaces—it’s very simple to switch between carpet and hard floors. However, it really bothers me how easily the motor unit comes off the battery. So far, that’s the only annoying thing I’ve found about this vacuum. Pros: • Leaves floors looking very clean • Floor head moves easily for corners and tight spaces • Simple to switch between carpet and hard floors • Floor-leveling feature works well on different surfaces . It’s light weight and has some cool information to give about what you’re cleaning up. Again it’s pretty okay

V15 Detect Extra works better than other corded vacuum cleaners that are much larger and heavier. Due to its power though, it tends to drag on carpet, which I think is a good thing, but can also be tiresome.

Ye sit deep cleans carpets without tangles, but do we need an LCD screen to tell us what debris it picked up?

Performs poorly on carpet

After less than 6 months of use, our carpet is nowhere as clean as when we use our Dyson Animal. I've had to clean the carpets 2-3 times as often and they still are not as clean. We just bought another Animal to use on the carpet. If you want a vaccum for hard floors, this one is fine, but don't waste your money if you need a vaccum for carpet.
