My biggest issue with any spin head vacuum is that the hair gets stuck. Not on this one! The green light lets me see all the dust you wouldnt be able to.

At first, I expected to be more blown away by the suction--not so much. It's multiple capabilities, ability to adapt the degree of suction, and the fantastic green light to "see" dirt are great. Finally feeling able to get rid of our heavy upright vacuum.

The Dyson V15 is powerful and cleans very well, but for the price I expected much better reliability. I have now owned two units, and both of them broke in exactly the same way. I mainly use it on laminate wooden floors only, not carpets, so it hasn’t been used roughly or pushed hard. Both vacuums developed the same problem with the main power button. The vacuum turns on for a second and then immediately shuts off. You have to keep pressing the button again and again to make it work, and sometimes it just won’t stay on at all. This makes it extremely annoying to use and basically useless. For something this expensive, this kind of repeated failure is unacceptable. The product performs great when it works, but clearly has a serious durability issue. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this vacuum. Dyson looks premium, but it has broken down on me twice in the same way, so I would suggest buying something else instead.

We have pets and they can shed. We love our Dyson nothing better.
