My wife decided that she really wanted this vacuum after previous great experiences with other Dyson products we have seen both with our full size vacuum, but also our friends' fans. This was a phenomenal purchase and works wonders on our hardwood floors. We bought it on sale, but I would have been happy at full price for the quality of this vacuum's cleaning power on our floors.

The vacuum has great suction when the Turbo Charge button is enabled. When it isn't enabled, suction is okay. Don't like how short of the battery life the vacuum has, the time limits are noted inside the box on the manual. It should be displayed on the outside to notify customers. The vacuum only last 5 mins when the Turbo Charge button is on, was not impressed.

Very light and all the attachments make it very flexible to use anywhere.

I've always had a tough time searching for new vacuums online. I always search for sucky vacuums and I never get the results I want. Every vacuum I've tested claimed to "suck hard" has failed to provide adequate suction power... EXCEPT for DYSON! Dyson sucks so hard, I will never buy ANY OTHER VACUUM EVER! DYSON HAS THE BEST SUCTION ON THE MARKET!! CAPS LOCK!!!

This is a most incredible machine! The charge lasts long enough to clean 1 o 2 rooms. We love that there is no cord to drag around. The amount of dirt and dust it picks up is unbelievable - stuff our old Kenmore left behind, for example. We also like the fact it is bag-less which is better for the environment. The Best Buy sale price was also the best we found.

This is my second Dyson Cordless Vac. Bought this one because of the hard floor brush. When I purchased the last one I also bought the hard floor attachment but this one works sooooo... much better. Now have one unit upstairs where there is more carpet and the new one is downstairs where everything is either wood or tile. Only wish would be battery lasted longer can never finish entire up or downstairs on one charge.

This vacuum is great for spot cleaning and stairs. The only drawback is the short battery life.

We had tried our first robot vacuum but returned it as we were unhappy with the performance. This along with us having stairs in our house led me to looking at the Dyson V6. We have both carpeting and laminate flooring on our first floor. We use the Dyson V6 mainly for the laminate which covers the main traffic areas, kitchen and dining room. We also use it for the entry rugs. With 4 young kids this machine is perfect for performing a quick cleanup at the end of the day so you can start fresh. It does really well at picking up items against the wall, just by running the vacuum parallel against the wall. The Dyson is light weight and has a few attachments that are very easy to change between. The Dyson has a "Max" setting for maximum power. It produces an amazing amount of suction but will drain the battery rather quickly. For example, on the "Max" setting I was barely able to complete a flight of stairs. In contrast, on the normal setting I can easily clean over a 1200 square foot area without killing the battery. We always use it on the normal setting and have never had the battery die on us in this setting. We were able to mount the charging base in the front coat closet which has proved to be very convenient for the area we use it in the most. For someone with pets or kids I would highly recommend this as a means of easily maintaining a clean floor.

We love this easy to use vacuum. Great suction power and is easy to carry from room to room.

We had a Dyson before we moved to the USA and we really missed it. After a year of making do with an inferior brand we decided to invest in a new Dyson (this time a wireless one). Battery life is impressive (we live in a 2 bed apartment) and there are far too many attachments to ever need. Won't buy anything but Dyson again in the future :)
