Purchased in Dec 2017 and used fewer than 10 times for touch ups. Now it won't start and has a blinking red light indicating a fault. I will never buy any Dyson product again.

I returned this product and asked my children to buy me the next step up for Christmas. It will be interesting to see if the v8 by Dyson holds a charge for 40 min.

This product, and I'm starting to believe this brand in general is highly overrated. It malfunctions more than it functions. This product is advertised as being good for heavy duty vacuuming. Yet, I have a multiple pet household, and AS SOON AS I do heavy duty cleaning, this vacuum gets a blockage. I tried to register the vacuum online at www.dyson.com using the serial number, and it won't let me. I believe as though I purchased a piece of junk, as it malfunctions most of the time.

Collection on the v8 is better to dump. Battery life is not as good. Maybe 15 mins.

I had lot of expectations from this product, I have two young ones and the house is always a mess so though of getting a handy vacuuming and this came to my mind, I went for it instead of the hefty price tag. After 6 months of moderate use the stick is broken. I cannot believe that I have wasted $500 for this thing which is the top line model.

The vacuum worked well the first time after charging, since then it will not charge. We will write another review after the charger or battery is fixed.

The dusk cover comes off while you are using it if you bump it ever so slightly when cleaning under table or other furniture.

These are fragile. My first one broke after 1.5 years but I liked it and decided to try again. This one broke in a week.

I have owned now 2 handhelds and 3 Stick cordless Dyson Vacuums and this newest model is the best one yet. Includes to motorized heads and assorted other attachments plus is the most powerful and intuitive and has an improved filter. If you think this is too much to pay for a Stick, think again! I use my stick more than my Dyson upright and it is the best for quick jobs and saves me the hassle of dragging out my upright. I would highly recommend!

This is my second Dyson. First one was full-size upright vac. Now we have all hard floors with a couple rugs. We have two beagles who contribute their share of hair. This stick vac is great when it comes to seeing hair/dust balls in the corner or when things like leaves come off the bottom of ones shoe. The hard floor attachment is awesome. It's powerful and really wipes the floor clean. It also works as a great prep for a Swiffer-like wet mop. Battery charge is about twenty minutes, but if you clean on a regular basis, you don't need more charge. If all you have is carpet, you need a full-size vac, but I still highly recommend the Dyson brand. It's also great for the car.

I love vacuuming, I consider it a fun hobby as weird as that sounds. So this was my dream vacuum, so strong and powerful, super light, and comes with lots of attachments. The only downside, you have to charge the product. I hate charging things, it takes time and foresight, something you might not have in a pinch when the dog walks in with dirty paws.

You're getting what you pay for with this vac. I won't deny it, a Dyson is a status symbol. A functional status symbol that works exactly as it is designed to work. Suction is strong, battery life is good for the amount of work this vacuum actually does, and it's just a really beautiful machine.

We bought this while it was on sale and don't regret it. This vacuum works great! The only reason why I gave 4 and not 5 stars is because I wish the battery life was longer. In normal mode it lasts about 20 minutes and 6 minutes on max mode. The charging time after each use is about 2 hours. That would be my one and only complaint.

Great for smaller places. Only holds charge for about 20 min. Works well. A lot of power for a wireless and I like all the attachments. Just wish it would hold a charge longer.

The Dyson V6 Absolute is good for quick clean ups around the kitchen, and for taking places that regular vacuums don't work. I use it to clean the stairs, for example, or when I need to get up some pet hair that is blowing around the baseboards. It's light and maneuverable. I find emptying the bin to be harder than it needs to be, and I usually have to reach inside to get out the fluff. But much better at cleaning up than the old Dustbuster I used to use.

I've owned this vacuum for a year, and I love it! It comes with several attachments for hardwood floors, edges, etc. I use this little guy for everything, carpet, hardwood, cars, and upholstery. The rinse-able filters and bag less design make it a breeze to clean after cleaning and it's light enough to easily carry everywhere.

Best cordless I've owned and love the new Fluffy head

This is the best vacuum/floor cleaner I have ever owned and I have a long history of floor cleaners. From Bissel to Shark to Swiffer, this cordless vac does it all. It quickly cleans 2 flights of carpeted stairs that are constantly dirty with cat litter and fur. Hardwood floors are easily cleaned with the hard floor head. The small roller head works well for removing cat hair from furniture. I love this tool!

I'm impressed with how light weight it is. Works well picking up dog hair and convienent to use for a good quick clean.
