I always been hesitant to invest more bucks in commodity products but after trying the Dyson V6 cordless vacuum cleaner for 3 weeks I can say that I am totally shocked and amazed how well build and designed is this Dyson V6 cordless vacuum cleaner. I got it at Best Buy at a great price and purchased the Geek Squad protection for complete peace of mind. It has lots of power and comes with many accessories plus it is cordless with makes it very easy to do spot cleaning on the go. I honestly do not have any cons and of course, there are cheaper vacuums out there but I think this one surpasses even the bigger vacuums.

I have so many dyson products and I just love them they work really well and this vacuum is no different it’s great and I love how light and easy it is to clean perfect for cars and stairs or just being lazy not wanting to bring out big vacuum easy and light gets the job done I love it

good power, sucks up everything, then put it in the charge station; easy to detach to clean the sofa; one neg is you have to keep pressing on the handle to keep it on

Never liked to vacuum as it was too much work. No cords to wind, Lightweight. So easy to use. Love it. I an vacuum in half the time. Worth every penny.

My daughter's older Dyson refurbished vacuum cleaner broke recently, and I gave her my Dyson upright which I was very impressed with even though it was refurbished. I ordered it on Best Buy.com last Black Friday. At first I didn't have it charging on the included wall mount. It was awkward just leaving it leaning against the wall, it's worth your time to put up the wall mount. The only issue I've had with this is when I first started using it to vacuum my floors, things would clog up in the floor attachment. After unclogging it once, it has not clogged up again. I do like the ability to clean spider webs and to dust the walls, as well as window sills and especially ceiling fans and blinds! I would recommend this product.

Great vacuum, does a great job in picking up everything a full vacuum would. The only part that I don't like is having to hold the power button down the entire time I use it. Otherwise love it and all the different ways I can use it.

Easy to use--glad it doesn't have a cord. Attachments are handy.

This works very well, however I believe that I was expecting more for the price. It is the best stick vac I have ever used however you have to hold down the power button constantly to make it work and mine has jammed a couple of times.

This vacuum does the job! It has great suction and is super lite to pick up and maneuver. Battery life is limited so you need to pick the job you want it to do first in case it runs out. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The sweeper is great the power is awesome the attachements work great. The upholstery device is great. The battery life is pathetic. So if you have a quick job it's the right ticket.

Love this vacuum! The portability of a cordless vacuum is what drew my interest to this product and I was pleasantly surprised at how light, easy to operate and powerful it is. The only thing I don’t like is there is a small area (top of the canister) that I cannot get to when cleaning it out. that’s why I gave it 4 stars.

I love the versatility of this vacuum. It works on so many different surfaces because of the many attachments it comes with. I wish the battery lasted longer.

I bought this vacuum cleaner for my sister-in-law. I was skeptical about Dyson and higher pricing than competitors. However, once I started lifting it up and vacuuming, I realized why this is so popular. Super light and relatively less noisy but powerful. I was also skeptical about battery-powered device, but for now I don't see the difference with other products with electrical wires. The only caveat is still price, but you can have better deal in November. So stand by and make a purchase. This product (animal) got a bristle for hairy pets as extra, but same pricing as the other. So I recommend you to buy this model instead.

I have always had a Dyson cordless vacuum. My previous one was a V6 and I really enjoyed it, worked very well for all quick clean ups. I recently purchased the V6 Animal which is a definite step up. It is very powerful and does a excellent job with dog hair. Love it!

This is not my first Dyson but it may be my last. I have an animal upright, and when I got tired of dragging it to the carport to clean the dog hair out of the car, I went shopping for a handheld. I bought a V6 trigger for about $140 and was proud of the sales price. It worked great in the car, and other places around the house that the animal seemed too big for. I thought about the stairs but wished I had the stick and powerhead that the cordless vacuum had. I called Dyson and they said that they don't sell those parts for the trigger. I would need to buy a cordless vacuum. The V6 animal went on sale so I bought it. It came with the same accessories that the V6 trigger came with except for the stick and the powerhead. The vacuums look exactly alike. But the stick and powerhead fits only one. The attachments are altered just enough that they are not interchangeable. For a company that sells vacuums that are hundreds of dollars, you can afford to have interchangeable parts!

Has great power and maneuverability. Picks up everything. 2 things after it fills get a funky odor coming from vents, hard to get all the gunk stuck inside the tubes and wish the button STAYED on instead of holding it down.

This vacuum works better than most corded models. The only downside to this vacuum is that it does not work very well with the short attachments in your vehicle.

I chose this one because my son has one and it works well, very portable and nice attachments. It is a little tricky emptying the dirt compartment. And you need to work fast to take advantage of the battery.

Black Friday pricing influenced my decision to get this product. It performs great, and store neatly out of the way. The only downside is the 6 minute run time on max, and full recharge takes a few hours. its not enough to thoroughly clean in one go. I end up using it a couple times a day in between charges.
