This vacuum is a great cordless option for vacuuming small to moderate dirt and loose items. My house is primarily hardwood and this unit works great. The swivel head maneuvers the unit in just about any direction with ease.

Obviously it is not as powerful as my corded dyson; but, considering I vacuum multiple times a day due to having 2 dogs that shed A LOT, it is perfect. SO light and easy to roll around the house. Goes over multiple floor surfaces without missing anything and is awesome in the hand held form too. If you have pets, or vacuum a lot for any other reason, I highly recommend a cordless dyson. Makes life a little easier!

Bought this Dyson V6 Animal Cord Free for two reasons: It's great for getting pet hair, and very portable for use in our fifth wheel camping RV. It works great, grabs all the cat's shedded hair, gets into corners, does carpets and hard laminated floors equally well, and is very easy to empty out when full.

We have had the old dyson handheld for several years now, and we wanted to upgrade. However, with the increase in price, we were really hoping for a superior product. This vacuum delivers!! It is great for our area rug, the hardwood floor and the carpets. It is lightweight, powerful, and holds it charge well. The new brushes are great for the hardwood. With the black friday savings, not a better buy for the money!!

We have a relatively small home with tile, wood and carpet...the animal does great on all three and I love not having to plug and unplug moving from room to room.

This is great! Lightweight, good power, so easy to pull out and quickly clean up messes.

this is my third dyson cord free vacuum... works well. easy to use. easy to charge. only bad is the battery. it works so well, you want to vacuum the whole house with it. but, you can't. charge runs out pretty fast. just long enough to do couple of rooms and stairs... but, that's what it is. no other issues. if it wasn't good, i would not have bought three of them. :)

Works great on stairs. I was surprised how much suction it had compared to other cordless vacuums. I liked it enough to purchase another as a gift for my son.

I love this vacuum! I use it for mainly my hard floors with all the pet hair, (2 dogs that shed A LOT and 2 cats) and it has not lost suction yet! It also will go over my carpet and do a great job, if I want something fast, without pulling out my big vacuum. I love I can do the stairs in a hurry with it! It's simple, fairly light weight, easy to maneuver, and is always charged on the charging port ready to go.

We love our Dyson Vacuum and purchased this one for smaller jobs and to quickly pick up messes. It does a great job and the battery lasts a long time before needing a recharge.

Love seems too generic a term for my new Dyson Animal! The only way it could be better is if it had a slot for an IPhone or an App that reminded certain household members to use it. We have an older Dyson 'full' vacuum but this is so handy, easy, light & picks up everything. I'd probably use it even more if the charge lasted longer. But I wouldn't sacrifice how light it is for a few more minutes.

The Dyson - V6 animal, cord free vacuum does exactly what it's advertisements claim. It is lightweight and easy to operate. It has strong suction and quickly sucks up the fur from 4 dogs, 1 cat and the course hair of the mini pig. It came with many attachments so I can vacuum every inch of the house and the furniture in the house. Even the cars can get vacuumed quickly.

Excellent pick up power. We have a house in FL and it is great for the hard wood floors and picking up sand. The attachments are great for base boards and window ledges.

Light weight easy to use. Easy to change attachments. Good suction for a cordless.

I have heard great things about Dyson in the past but was still skeptical. I have used several different cordless vacuums in the past and they all had the same issue. They lost suction about 5 months after purchase. I have a cat and a dog that both shed their short hair all over the house. This vacuum has been able to keep up and exceeded my expectations.

This is the best vacuum ever! It is light weight and easily gets in those hard to reach places like under the bed. I was initially worried about the 20 minute battery life, but it so far is no problem. I get the vacuuming done very fast without the cord and heavy vacuum. This is perfect if you have stairs and an upstairs area you dread vacuuming because of a heavy vacuum. I absolutely love it.

This is an outstanding cordless handheld vacuum. If you have pets this product is a must. It is easy to use other attachments and has amazing suction!
