Good for cordless vac, it has good suction but the vac works best on turbo mode. The battery dies very fast.

We own three of these Dyson stick vacs now. One at our home, one at our Florida condo, and one at my office. Perfect for a quick touch up our complete thorough cleaning. Bought one for each of our four sons and their homes also. Great battery life, good suction, great on pet hair.

It didn't mention that it only runs for 6 minutes on Max suction, so that can be inconvenient. BUT it picked up so much more than my previous vacuum, is super light weight and easy to store. I am totally pleased.

But it was worth every penny. The suction is great. It picks everything up quickly. I like that it comes with a couple of different attachments. I vacuum my car and my bedroom. I don’t do too much vacuuming at a time so the 20 minutes of use time was just fine. It charges very quickly though so you could really take a break, then vacuum again if you need more than 20 min. It’s easy to clean the canister and the filter. I love the look of it too. The wall mount is really a novelty as you can charge it on the ground too, but I think it looks awesome on my wall. I went in with a budget of $150 on a vacuum and ended up buying a $250 one. It stung a little at the time but when I got to use it, I have no regrets.

It is very light weight and powerful, I'm very happy with it.

Pros: Overall, a good vacuum for "short term" daily vacuuming/cleaning, small jobs. Good warranty Cons: Low battery life. I would prefer having an on/off switch to operate vs having to hold the trigger while in operation. A little pricey for the product in my opinion.

I tried a variety of other cordless stick vacs over the years. Black & Decker, Makita, and most recently Electrolux. I was unhappy with all of them for one reason or another after 12 to 18 months, if not immediately. Having use the Dyson V6, I wish I hadn't wasted my time with those other brands. I highly recommend this unit.

I've owned so many vacuum cleaners in my life, including Oreck, Electrolux, and even an old Kirby. Nothing has the suction power of Dyson. It picks up things you didn't know were there, and makes carpet feel new again. This cordless model is a perfect complement to the upright or canister units because it is good for every day usage to clean a floor or address small spills. The weekly maintenance is done by the heavy duty unit. I would suggest that everyone seriously consider the canister model because the upright is extremely heavy to move around, especially when you are simply using the hose and an attachment. If I could buy again, I could couple this with a canister model.

I used to sweep all the time not grabbing everything. Especially when my boyfriend would shave and cut his hair, sweeping just doesn't do it. This Dyson was the best thing I have ever invested my money in. I also like the fact that you can clean every section of the vacuum. It's easy to take apart.

I have been very happy with my little Dyson; I can vacuum the living room wood floor in a snap without having to drag around the corded vac. It has plenty of suction, especially with the Max button option. For carpet, it’s definitely for quick clean-ups only; the little beater doesn’t have enough power for major carpet vacuuming. I’ve used it in the car effectively, though the canister is a little awkward in tight spaces. Lightweight, and the canister has the same easy empty button that the larger Dysons have. The only time I’ve run out of power Is when the last person to use it didn’t plug it in after using it for some extensive cleaning.

This is a great great vacuum. Picks up dust, hair, and is lightweight enough to take anyway in the house upstair or downstairs. Does truly stay charged for a full 20 minutes, and the super power button gives you 6 minutes of heavy duty cleaning

This Works amazingly well, the dirt is sucked up so well and with the same suction power as the larger full size Dyson. I purchased this version because I have the full size Dyson that came with all the attachments. This one comes with very little attachments and if you're looking to clean your car with it, I'd purchase one with all the attachments! I was lucky enough to use the ones from my vacuum but it's useless without them I could just use the hose on the actual vacuum. The battery life lasts about 25-30 min max. I was able to vacuum my entire car (town and country) from front to trunk without it turning off and was extremely throrough but as soon as I was done it needed to be recharged. I wish it had a longer battery life where I could keep it in my trunk to clean up quick messes whenever one occurred.

The Dyson is very light, surprisingly powerful and reasonably quiet. It is easy to empty and also to store and recharge I think our big, old, noisy upright will be going upstairs.
