I had a roomba but it wasn't cleaning all areas of the house. The dyson is the best vacuum i've ever used. It's lightweight and is so easy to access hard to reach areas. My carpet looks like it was carpet cleaned and I don't even use the max function!

Light and compact

It has alot of suction for what it is and my wife liked for it being very light. However, it can only be used for 5 minutes on max mode which is terrible when you have a large house. Also, it was hard to clean the debris that got trapped in the inner housing of the filter.

I am pleased to hear you are enjoying how light the machine is as well as the great suction the cordless provides. The cordless machines are intended for in between cleanings or quick clean ups as it does feature 20 minutes of continuous suction in standard mode and 6 minutes in max power for tougher jobs.
The cordless machines can be broken down for easier cleaning. The canister will separate from the cyclone so that you can access the shroud area of the cyclone which we do recommend cleaning at least once every month with a can of compressed air or bristle brush.

Works great catching dust bunnies too in hard to reach places! Only draw back would be battery life and a little pricy, but it's a Dyson and anticipate many years of use due to high quality manufacturing.

Cleaning the brush bar and filter is easier compared to the older model. Would recommend to anyone looking for cordless vacuum.
