Wow. So I'll start out by saying this is my first real vacuum purchase. I'm only 21 (can't believe how excited I was to be buying a vacuum), so buying a vacuum probably doesn't seem like it should be on my top things to do. But it was. My girlfriend and I didn't have a deep cleaning vacuum, and we have two cats currently. Let's just say the carpets were getting very dirty, especially after 6 months of no vacuuming. I had had enough. Went into Best Buy considering any one of the Dyson's or Shark's. I ended up with this Dyson for two reasons: the fact that it is cordless was a huge plus for me, just recharge the battery and use when I need to was a great convenience, and the other was due to the fact that the next model up (Animal) only had two extra attachments for another $100. Wasn't worth it to me. So after owning it for a week, here is my outlook: PROS -Amazing suction power (has picked up everything from cat food to cat hair, no problem) -Intense suction power with MAX mode enabled (3x suction roughly) -Super lightweight -Well constructed, supercompact design (easy storage) -Cordless design -Great maneuverability, easy to control -Easy removing dust container CONS -Battery lasts roughly 16 minutes on a full charge, roughly 5 on MAX mode -Emptying the container can get messy at times -Cleaning the vacuum can sometimes be a little messy, see above I can't believe at how much this little vacuum can accomplish. It's able to do so much with so little. I will go out and say that if I owned a house, I don't think this would replace an actual full-upright vacuum, due to the shorter batter life. Overall, I'm highly impressed. I'm trying to get everyone I know to buy one!

Very surprised how well this vacuum works on all floor types

I can't believe the amount of "dirt" it picks up in a matter of only a few minutes and I LOVE the fact that it is so light. I couldn't be happier.

Good suction, ok battery life but small bucket for Collection.

I love the product weight and size and suction overall, but the canister that collects dirt is too small and narrow. Pet hair gets trapped in the canister and you have to use your finger or butter knife to pry it out. That's gross. You want to pour out the dirt. It's quite messy.

We really like this light weight vacuum cleaner. The two attachment are really handy and it works real well. Our only complaint is that some of the lint get stuck high up in the container and hard to clean out.

Great suction and power on hard floors and just right size for my hardwood stairs and no scratching. However difficult to use on carpet thicker than extremely thin. The thicker the carpet the greater force I need to exert to roll vacuum. I can not use on shag at all. Hopefully a different brush attachment is available for thicker carpets.

Works as advertised. Works well on low and high suction.

This is the second one I have owned and it works great. We use it on the whole house it's always ready. Better than a cord for sure

It's noisy. The motor could be a lot quieter. I have to wait for my wife to stop using it before continuing watching TV. The suction works well the brush head doesn't scratch our newly refinished floors.

Good buy, works great at tight corners, under The bed

I have 2 German Shepards and cloth furniture. I wouldn't trade this for anything when it comes to light weight and suction power

If you want a portable vac and space saver .. can't go wrong with Dyson . Powerful yet small with an excellent warranty !!!

For being battery operated vacuum i was very impressed with the power that it has .has a very nice design and lightweight

This is powerful and helpful for small spaces. It has a short battery life so I wouldnt use it to replace a traditional vac.

This vacuum is perfect for everyday use ! With children and pets it's perfect for a quick vac and for keeping the floors clean! The attachments make cleaning ceiling fans and walls a breeze !

Love having this vacuum for the small areas instead of pulling my heavier vacuum out. Only problem is using the higher power, which is more effective, lasts only 5-6 minutes. Wish it would be longer.

Quality of product is great Ease ofuse great Cleaning made easy Battery time is low on max on regular is better but still, needs to get charge after every use. No battery replace an option:(
