I gets pet hair out of my carpet better then any other vacuum I've ever owned. Even works great on hardwood and tile.

I can barely do one room and the stairs without having to recharge. Vacuums well and would give it a higher rating if the battery charge lasted longer

Dan from Dyson here, thanks so much for providing a review of our V6 Motorhead.
This machine offers a 26 minute cleaning time, with a 20 minute run time before the battery runs out. That is because V6 has a run time enhancing trigger – meaning that you are only using energy when you really want to be cleaning, rather than leaving it running when you’re moving furniture or moving from one room to the next. In developing V6, Dyson engineers researched how long people like to clean, and found that the vast majority of people clean for less than 25 minutes in one session. Many people, for example those living in apartments in metropolitan areas, find 26 minutes proves to be long enough. Although if you live in a much bigger home, we would recommend that V6 be used for in-between cleans, rather than deep whole home cleans.
Further, using a lithium ion battery pack, the V6 releases its charge evenly so there is no drop in performance. Other cordless machines may claim longer run times, but thanks to fading batteries, clogging bags and filters, they can quickly lose up to half their suction power in use.
