It's not as strong of a suction as I originally thought. I like to get the larger one as I think that would be a better fit for me

I use it often and keep it charged just in case I have to take it with me to the car to clean up after my 2 year old.

Posted .Hi there, its Tameka with Dyson and I can certainly help. The V6 has 2 settings. You may have the unit in boost mode which would only give you a run time of about 6 minutes. For normal use, you must turn off the MAX button on the back of the unit. To do this, hold the trigger while you press the MAX button. This MAX button light should turn off. By doing this, you will get a run time of about 20 minutes when fully charge.

On MAX power, DC58 delivers more suction power than any other handheld. However, the DC58 should be able to pick up on normal power which will allow much longer run time.

Best Hand Vac Ever

The plastic body seems a little cheap (swirls in the injection molding), but it seems sturdy enough and functions very well.

Dyson V6 Trigger hand-held vacuum provides high suction power on the standard suction mode which lasts for 20 minutes, and also the machine has a boost/max suction feature which lasts for 8 minutes. This mode is for tougher cleans in the home and car areas.
