I got this for the bathroom and it works amazingly. Works great on the carpet and tile. Love this purchase

Great product but it is a dyson- I like that it comes with a wall mounted hanger for vac and tools.

I was able to adjust the vacuum in about 5 minutes, but had to wait about 3 hrs to charge in order to use it. The vacuum has some very cool attachments and the fac that it goes from vacuum stick to handheld handvac is very convenient. The attachments work well and the primary vacuum head has a low profile and great swivel points in order to get in the hard to reach sports without having to pull some yoga moves in order to reach. The downside comes in the battery life, the battery life is about 25-30 minutes and even waaay less when you change the setting to max suction about 8 minutes. The vacuum will not lose suction as the battery looses power, it will just abruptly shut off. I am not sure if thats preferable to it losing suction as that will give you a bit of a warning. The method to empty the cannister is a little messy, when you pop the top of the cannister and pull it open the bottom opens up and drops the dirt out. I wish the cannister were removable to make it easier. Overall the vacuum cleaned floors, that I did not think were that dirty, very well...the amount of fine/micro-dust it pulled up was amazing. I ran a Swiffer after in order to see how much dirt was left behind and I tell you the Swiffer was pretty much clean after sweeping the same area. It performs amazing for the short battery life it has!

Does well as it's supposed to on our entire hardwood floors on the 2nd floor.the material does not scratch the floor at all.

This lightweight cordless vacuum took the work out of vacuuming stairways.

Maybe in the future there will be a stronger suction. Like a v10 or v12. Just maybe. Suction is worth it.

Be warned, it's my first Dyson-- but it does not mean that it is my first vacuum appliance. This thing surpasses everything that my 10 or so previous vacuums have ever featured. It is light, cordless, pretty, easy to clean and easy to unload dirt, easy to charge, even the nozzles are easy to snap on (it confirms snapping in place so even an ignorant person cannot go wrong). The hardwood floor nozzle is so effective, besides the good looks, it gently goes through my hardwood floor area and manages to clean even the hardest seated sand in uneven wood creases-- especially that I live by the beach, this thing is VERY VERY VERY USEFUL. I had fine-nosed vacuums that cannot even pick up wood gap sand. It is portable yet so powerful! My 6 year old likes using it-- because he thinks it's a gun and it cleans everything he puts the nose into. My lady thought it's the best thing that has ever happened to house vacuuming (and even car cleaning too). For me, overall design is great. It is so easy to use and makes a vacuuming task a little more enjoyable than it is supposed to be. I love it and I am thankful this exists.
