Definitely helps with the truck interior and our dogs hair. I love it.

You have to keep your finger on the switch to keep it running. I know that's done to conserve the battery. The dirt collection container is a little small but I would purchase the same machine again.

Kind of heavy after awhile holding it with single hand.

The suction is definitely great though.

You may think the battery life wont hold up but I live in a 2 level condo and can sweep both floors with some power left to spare. I love the docking unit to keep everything neat and clean. Easy to empty, switch accessories and store for charging. Sturdy build keeps my confident that the sweeper will not break down easily and is made for consistent use. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cordless vacuum.

We're also glad that you've found the machine easy to keep clean. Our cord-free machines are modular, and they're very easy to clean and troubleshoot, should any issues ever arise.
With regard to the run time, this model offers two modes of suction, regular and MAX. Right out of the box, the machine is set to Max power, which provides a generous boost of suction. This boost is ideal for larger debris or more stubborn messes. The trade-off, however, is just about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction mode, which was designed for everyday household vacuuming, offers up to 20-30 minutes of fade-free run time, depending on whether a motorized tool is being used.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V7 Motorhead cordless vacuum cleaner has a run-time enhancing trigger. Battery power is only used when the trigger is pushed – it is not wasted when moving from room to room, or moving around obstacles. All of our cordless units do come switched on to MAX mode out of the box, otherwise, when not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.
When using your machine in MAX with the direct-drive Motorhead, run time will be approximately 7 minutes. We wouldn't expect to hear that dirt or debris is being left behind while vacuuming on your bare floors. In that instance, you may wish to put the machine into MAX power, to have a boost of suction and help with those more stubborn messes.
