Dyson V7 Cordless

The battery does not last as long as indicated. The regular mode has such low suction, your forced to use the high volume and by doing that you get about 10 minutes of use before needing to charge. The canister is also very cumbersome to empty and generally makes a mess. We were really excited to get this as my wife has been wanting one for years, unfortunately due to the above we returned it. Huge Dyson fan, we have two other type Dyson vacuums.

The V7 is designed to get 30 minutes of run time in standard mode with no motorized tool attached, 20 minutes with the motorized head in standard mode and 6 minutes in MAX mode as advertised.

Our cordless models feature a run-time enhancing trigger, hygienic bin emptying, and a variety of tools and attachments to tackle varying cleaning tasks. With regard to battery life on our V7, your machine features two power modes, regular and MAX. Right out of the box, the machine will be set to MAX power, which provides a generous boost of suction power to tackle more stubborn messes or larger debris. In this mode, your run time will be up to 7 minutes. For everyday household vacuuming, regular power mode will provide sufficient suction, along with 20-30 minutes of run time, depending on the tool being used. Only missing item is some more tools which can get to tight spaces in the car (especially along the sides of the seats), otherwise a great vacuum.

Only got to knock a star for the 30 minute use on a full charge. If you have a huge home you might need something bigger and wired.
