I'd bought a Hoover Lynx and it just passed over litter. The Dyson does the trick! In fact, I am using it for much more since it is easier than hauling out my heavy Miele. I hesitated because of the price but I'm so glad I made this purchase. I did worry about the short operation time before recharging but that's just not been a problem.

The V7 is designed to get 30 minutes of run time in standard mode with no motorized tool attached, 20 minutes with the motorized head in standard mode and 6 minutes in MAX mode as advertised.
