..ok that is a bit of an overstatement, but my wife and I are very pleased with the performance of this vacuum. We have always used dyson products and this V7 motorhead is a nice addition to our family. We have three dogs and two little kids and the messes they make are incredible. It was a hassle to drag the full size dyson upstairs to clean up a localized mess of crumbled up crackers, but no more. The V7 makes quick work of those messes and works great on the stairs as well. I am amazed at how much dirt is collected in the canister. Speaking of that, emptying that is a breeze! I haven't had to clean out the filter yet, but you can just wash it out and let it dry for 24 hours and continue on. I do wish the battery lasted a bit longer then the 30 minutes that I have gotten out of it but I am sure that would just make the unit heavier...overall I think it is a good balance of power, weight, and longevity. Smaller spaces won't have any issues with running out of battery, but turbo mode will eat the battery a lot faster, I think it was used up in about 7 minutes. All in all, we are very happy with this.

Well worth the money. A little noisy but lightweight and very practical.

After putzing around with various cordless vacuums, from dustbusters to hoovers, I finally bit the bullet and bought what I believed was an overpriced luxury item. While the Dyson is an overpriced luxury item, it is a darn fine one. It cleans well, is highly maneuverable, and it is in general a joy to use.

The Dyson V7 Cord-Free stick vacuum is an excellent product. The price is high but worth it. The battery life is excellent...if you maintain normal suction. The maximum suction will suck your battery dry (pun intended & accurate).

This vacuum is awesome, the battery life tho Is not that good.

A better price point for this new model with more than adequate suctgion.

It's pretty good but the downside is the battery life

We use this guy for our stairway and for reaching those hard to reach cobwebs and spiders up high and dangerous to hold an upright cleaner while perched on a stepper on a pile of books on the lower steps, LOL. Its charge lasts plenty long for such projects.

Love this light weight vacuum. The battery life enables the pickup of my entire hard wood living area and kitchen down stairs. Approximately 1200 sq.ft.! I also love the swivel vacuum head that rotates direction with a simple twist of the wrist. It's lighted head lamp allows me to sweep up any time of day or night.

My handheld Dyson finally gave up the ghost, and this was the only thing I could purchase to replace it. I thoroughly enjoy having the longer stick and the regular vacuum head to use for small rugs, etc. It expanded my options tremendously.

I would buy again. Very easy to use and clean. Great on hardwoods.
