||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have loved this vacuum if not for the way it is designed with vents facing your face and blowing the air (which is not Hepa filtered) right into your face the entire time you use it. This cannot be healthy for a person to inhale. I don't understand why a brand like Dyson at this price point can't design and put caps over the vents redirecting the air away from the face. Im also surprised that more people aren't concerned about this. Besides this major issue the vacuum is excellent. Its convenient to use, stylish looking and cleans well. I hope that Dyson can improve this design aspect and then I would give them 5 stars.

Posted .Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Dyson V7 Motorhead. Rest assured the air that is blowing out of the rear of the machine is not air from what is being vacuumed up. Rather this is the exhaust air which is drawn in at the back and blown out to help keep the motor cool.

Not good for thick carpets

All Dyson cord-free models feature a run-time enhancing trigger, which ensures that battery power is only used when the trigger is engaged - it's not wasted when moving from room to room or around obstacles. Right out of the box, your machine will be set to MAX mode, which will provide up to 7 minutes of run time. MAX power is generally reserved for more stubborn messes or larger debris. When not set to MAX mode, a full charge gives 30 minutes of fade free power or 20 minutes when using the motorized floor tool.

good for cleaning hard floor and carpet
