I consider the Dyson V8 Absolute to be Dyson's best design so far. Keep in mind that Dyson is continually improving their products. This vacuum is a result of exceptional and continuous engineering. Compared to the V6 we owned prior to this V8 Model, the unit has many noticeable improvements. The unit runs longer on a charge, the unit clears the dirt cup completely when opened for cleaning, the unit is quiet compared to the V6. If you have been waiting to get one of these Dyson cordless vacuums Buy This One! We love it and expect you will too.

Recently I moved from 2BHK apartment to 2 storey house.Previous owners had 2 cats and my intention was to remove as much from the carpet.To my surprise not only it removed an unbelievable amount of hair it also ran enough to vacuum the rest of the house !! This cleaner did not release any dust in the air whatsoever and the filter is super clean.It is worth every penny. Even though V6 price came down I did not go for it because of the extra battery and easy cleaning popup feature the new one has.Vacuuming house is easy now!

We have nothing bit hard wood floors and tile, 2 cats, and 1 pomeranian. Look, the battery only last 7 mins on the high setting which mean you can only clean for around 10 mins or so. The convenience of being able to grab and go and not deal with cords is heaven. This thing is powerful and does a great job of picking up all the little bits and hair. I love it. I've recommended it to lots of people. The price is steep but worth every bit. This is not for heavy cleaning. This is to stay on top of your messes. Try it. You might like it.

Lightweight, long lasting battery, strong suction can't ask for anything more. Easy to dump out canister, no more taking out tangled hair.

This cordless is light and very powerful. Attachments change out easily. We have three very hairy dogs. This vacuum is a serious hair buster.

My husband & I both feel this this has been a great purchase! It helps us to stay on top of all the "fur-balls" created by our 2 cats, one of whom is long-haired. It is so easy to use, empty, change attachments and put away after use! It does a fantastic job on spot cleaning, hard floors and rugs and a decent job on carpet. The battery life is great! We are able to complete our cleaning of a 3 or 4 rooms, sometimes more, on just the one charge. We absolutely give our Dyson V8 two thumbs up and our recommendation! Great product!

We love this vacuum.. It is so light and easy to use. It has great suction and is easy to empty.

Pricey... But This Dyson is Awesome! Being that its cordless I can vacuum our entire space in 20 minutes. Battery life is good. The Max power option is a plus. You wont believe whats in your carpet. A great purchase.

It's not cheap! But I really like it! You can tell it's well made and being cordless makes it very handy. It's also fairly light, the battery run time is perfectly satisfactory, so I am very happy with this vacuum.

We are surprised every time we use it. When I say this thing picks up everything I mean everything. You’ll be surprised by how much dirt it sucks up. Wireless is great and multiple heads are very useful!

Having already the experience with the V6 this seemed like a good choice since the battery life is doubled. Then there's the obvious enginneering progression/evolution where things were tweaked, changed & bettered.

I really like how easy it is to use this product. It only takes seconds until you are cleaning up messes. I love the hardwood floor attachment. It is great for quick clean ups. I do wish the battery lasted longer.

It's light, great suction, gentle on the floors, charges quickly and plenty of charge for 1000 sq ft of laminate flooring.

I can't even run it on max on most of my smaller carpets. It just sucks them up. I've done my whole house a couple of times and never used max settings. Haven't seen the need. Way easier to lug around than my giant Kenmore and just as effective if not better. Floor piece is cool and both floor and carpet tools get into the corners super well. And the furniture tool is also fantastic. Honestly I was a bit sceptical at first but I really can't recommend this enough.

It's been 18 months since I bought this V8. I used it every weekend for my hardwood floor and carpet. It cleaned my place very well. The battery is good so far. The only thing I am worried is whether I can replace the battery a few years later. This is expensive for sure. However, it has very good quality. I am planning to use it for at least 5 years. I hope Dyson will still produce the batteries in this module in the future.
