I am very happy about V8. Excellent performance, handiness to manage, and almost no space required to store. Now really enjoying to vacuum actually.

Love this new vacuum. Sure beats dragging 30 feet of central vac hose around. It picks up well on my wood and tile floors and is easy to manage.

I have enjoyed the ease of this vacuum. I have hard wood floors and this is great. Also good on carpeted steps. Didn't work so well for the car.

I was skeptical of this device and how useful it’d be in a house with animals but it’s exceeded my expectations. The amount of dust and particles this has picked up is amazing. I love the portability of the cordless vacuum. I was having to change plugs multiple times to clean my house and now I can do it without worrying about that. It’s also great for cleaning my car.

Went to BestBuy fully expecting to buy a Dyson Animal. After seeing the Dyson V8 decided to purchase it also. "Man" this little vacuum is awesome!!. I vacuumed my hole house with my old vacuum and re vacuumed with my new Dyson V8. Lets just say "GROSS"! If you think your carpet is clean with your old vacuum try the Dyson, and it will prove you wrong. I 100% LOVE this vacuum!!

Exactly what I needed and goes beyond my expectations! The battery last the entire time to vacuum my whole apartment with hot issues and it gathers a lot of the pet fur without clogging. It’s super easy to clean and I love how easy it is to put together and change out the parts to turn it into a whole different type of machine. Life without cords is great!

Purchased our first Dyson V-6 cordless vacuum at Best Buy6 and were very happy with performance and support.. Decided to purchase an additional Dyson V-8 cordless and are just as pleased. These vacuums clearly are well designed and absolutely wonderful as far as pick up when cleaning and portability. They are easy to maintain and Dyson support is wonderful

I had a central vac system and got real tired of schlepping around a 50 foot hose. After much research, I got the Dyson V8 Absolute. It has made life much better, and cleaner. Great suction power. The battery lasts long enough to do both hard floors and carpet throughout the house! Can't say enough good things about it . Worth the price!!!

This is an awesome vacuum. It has great suction power, but I do wish the battery would last a little longer. Overall it is well worth buying.

We wanted something that was easy to use in a pinch but that could also handle larger jobs rather than a dust buster. This basically has become our primary vacuum for the lower level of the house which is mostly hard floors. 2 small bedrooms with carpet and it does great on the carpet as well. Very handy and it lasts every bit of 40+ minutes. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a great vacuum, it has made the chore of cleaning up dog hair easy. We have a black lab and he sheds everywhere and this vacuum is powerful enough to get the fur but also easy to clean under and around furniture. My only complaint is that I get a electrical shock on my hand where the charging cord plus into the base whenever I use it on carpet. I returned one unit because of it and the second on also does this. Dyson's response was to tell me to wipe the vacuum with a dryer cloth before using it. Not very ideal. Otherwise it's amazing.

it's just out of the box and so far it's a great product. Vacuumed right behind our stand up Hoover (1 year old) and couldn't believe how much dirt was left behind. Easy to use, mobile, agile, lightweight. Great for cleaning auto interior, stairways, blinds, vents, etc. Would recommend with the highest confidence at this point. We'll see about longevity in 365 days plus.

I’m really happy I bought this. It’s light weight which is important for me and it comes with different attachments for different surfaces which is amazing. Having different attachments allows me to not just clean th floor easily but almost everything in my place that can be vacuumed gets vacuumed which cuts down on my cleaning time.

This is the reigning king of portable cordless vacuums. Great for a quick clean of the carpet, when dragging out the corded vacuum is too much of a hassle. The brush attachement is okay, although this is not an amazing duster (good, but not amazing). But the overall performance and attachments in this package earn it a 5 stars, all day. Nicely done, Dyson!

The price may seem high for a small vacuum cleaner but it's worth it. It's a very strong machine and you get a lot done with a full charge. I like the fact that you don't need to buy bags or filters for it. If there's one thing that's missing and I hope Dyson includes it in the future, is a bracket to hold all the accessories that comes with it.

Amazing vacuum once you get over the price point of the unit. It made no sense to me to get the V6 total clean based on the battery life. If I am going to invest $400 I might as well spend a little more and get double the battery life, hepa filtration, and a larger garbage canister. The performance is great on my hardwood/tile floors and we're happy with it.

I've been search a light and easy to use vacuum for a replacement. My daughter recommended Dyson. V8 is excellent, very light, and different tools help with small spot, corner, stairs and furniture clean. I used to vacuum once a week, but now I clean as much as it needed because Dyson made it simple and easy. Also I bought 2nd, V7 motored model.

the v8 is so strong it picks up everything you can imagine. only bad thing is that it runs for much much less than they promote 15 mins.

This thing has literally changed my life. I never knew how easy housework could be. Make sure you hang it up. Watch YouTube to see how to do that as the instructions aren't very helpful. If you can swing the cost, you won't regret it. It gives you hours back in your life that you used to spend plugging/unplugging and dragging a heavy vacuum around.
