Hands down BEST cordless vacuum!!! I have a Rainbow vacuum which I love but it’s so much easier to pull this vacuum out and run it over my floors real quick! I can do my main living area hardwood floors and then turn it on high to do my big area rug. Still use my Rainbow to do the bedroom carpets but this thing is a gem!!!

We’ve had this for a couple of months now and we’re completely satisfied. It’s strong enough to pick up dog fur off all types fabrics. We use it to vacuum car seats, sofas, hardwood flooring. It’s a great tool for stairs too. It makes vacuuming stairs and around the cat litter boxes far easier than the full size vacuum.

Its a great vacumm light weight, powerful and easy to use.

The Dyson V8 Vacuum does not disappoint. Cleans a lot off the carpet quickly and efficiently. Lots of cool attachments, including easy to remove roller brush that make removing hair a breeze. I've thrown away old vacs that had poor roller brush designs. Power is sufficient for most jobs even on standard mode. High power mode for deeper cleaning, but it runs the battery down quickly. The Dyson V8 is enough for our 1200 sq. ft. house, but get a V10 for a larger home.

The V8 is great! The battery lasts longer than on the V6 that I also own. I also like the hardwood floor attachment much better.

Great product, easy to use light weight and gets under the bed very easy. One little problem is charging the battery takes awhile

It is everything I had hoped it would be. Easy and light it is great for the stairs. Strong enough to use on the carpeted stairs. Great on the deck furniture and small spaces. We have a camper with carpet and plank flooring. Works great. It is small enough to not take up a lot of space in the camper but powerful enough to clean whole camper.

Very powerful and lightweight vacuum. I was worried about the actual power it would have on carpet, but it works just fine. It's weight is negligible and easy to maneuver. When on high settings, the battery life is somewhat limited, and the release mechanism to unlatch the dirt catch is someone touchy. I had to make several attempts to unlock it and it feels very fragile, but it seems to be working ok so far. The price is pretty steep but if you can afford, I would recommend this for small condos or apartments.

It's been 3 months now, and I've stopped using my full sized vac and my other cordless with detachable hand vac. I only use this Dyson - V8 Absolute Bagless Cordless 2-in-1 Handheld/Stick Vacuum. The quick release that also cleans the filter at the same time, uh-mazing! The 2 levels of suction power are picking up things the weekly maid service is not getting. Again, I'm OCD so I clean before the maid arrives and in-between visits, BUT I'm telling you, this vacuum makes me want to let her go - but it doesn't clean mirrors. Seriously, I've pulled rugs out of storage, ran this over them on high & they are like new. It's expensive relative to other cordless vacs, but compared to comparable cordless hand vacs - there aren't any. Get this, you won't regret it.

Great lightweight vac with awesome power. So convenient and easy to use! Can't speak to battery life but so far so good!

I got it to remove pet hair as we moved to a new house.It sucked up things I couldnt see amazing product highly endorse it.

The best cordless vacuum I have every had. I had the original version of this Dyson buy didn't have all the attachments.

I love the fact that I can use this product at high power for a long enough time to do the work I usually want completed

Literally, it sucks up everything from dog hair to dirt and it’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. I would give it five stars, but the little filters having to be cleaned every time it’s sort of a pain.

It has performed fantastic for us. Lots of parts though. I wish it was a little easier to manage them. Yes it does not weigh much, but after you vacuum the whole kitchen/living room you can feel it in your arm. I wish it had an option to just turn on and not have to hold the trigger the whole time. Other than that it works great.

Thus far my Dyson V8 Absolute has not disappointed me. It is lightweight, great suction and easy to empty. As a result, I do more touch-up cleaning which keeps the big jobs much easier to manage. I am a senior citizen and really appreciate the ease of use this appliance affords. Try it, you'll like it!

We use this stick vacuum for hardwood and rugs. It performs well on both. The dirt canister can be emptied quickly and easily. We haven't had the unit long enough yet to need to clean the filters. We have yet to use the unit long enough to run down the battery charge so we can't speak to this issue. We had an issue with the mounting hardware. Specifically, the provided dry wall anchors did not do the job. I had to use my own anchors to fasten the base unit to the wall.

Improved battery life over v6 without loss of suction. Negative change IMO are the inability to swap drained batteries for full ones; fixed battery on v8. Much better emptying mechanism for ease

Great cordless vacuum. Long battery life, quiet, powerful suction. A little pricey but I'm satisfied with the purchase
